Bands are unironically outdated. They only existed because nobody had figured out how to play an instrument more than four strings yet without resorting to a non-portable keyboard. When six strings became more common, solo artists started following suit. Now that we have 7, 8, and 9 strings you just need a guitarist and a drummer, and the guitarist should be able to sing no problem.
Also once keyboard synths go from 30lbs (current standard) to below 20 you can all kiss your asses goodbye, it's just the superior instrument.

If you're using any modulation effects, i.e. delay/reverb its recommended in the vast majority of amps to have a loop for it. Fender amps without loops are best to use with overdrives to push the amp, but they're old circuits now

What is the equivalent of justinguitar for piano?
Just bought a bass recently. What's the ratio of time I should be spending between practicing technique and learning a song? Right now it's about 50/50, where I try and make sure my technique is right when learning a song.
Spend 100% of time playing root notes, 0% everything else. You can do it, user.

I have owned a variety of guitars with an EMG 81 in the bridge and they all sounded different, including two that were supposed to be identical.
I've been playing guitar on and off for about 10 years. I learned a little bit from a family friend, and took a few lessons when I was younger, but I've basically been stuck at a mediocre playing ability this whole time. Should I even bother trying to overwrite 10 years of bad habits, or should I just try to learn something new like bass or drums?

For that specific instance, yes, it does. But it doesn't mean that much when it's a magnetic pickup. Which is why most electric guitars don't have piezo pickups. Funny how that works.
It really won't be that hard to overwrite bad habits if you weren't playing consistently and you make an effort to correct them
tonewood is a real effect but it isn't so consistent you can nail down a "mahogany tone" or anything like that and due to the vast amount of genres and styles electric guitar covers and the availability of active EQ and distortion in the signal chain, you can't really nail down a good one or a bad one or be limited by the normal tone of your guitar
so you can have favorites but don't ever act like you need a specific guitar built to so and so specs out of some rare rainforest wood to sound good

Got a bass bit over a year ago, now my technical skill is pretty decent and I can play most songs given a little practice. Mainly play stoner rock but recently trying RHCP since the bass in those are a little more challenging, but I can still play them fairly easy.
What's the next step for me? I practice at least every 2nd day but I've been getting bored because I feel like I'm not going anywhere. Just playing the same old songs and any new songs I learn, I get them down in like 15 minutes.
Play something out of your comfort zone then that's more challenging and will require you to learn new techniques.
Play with a band. Learn to work with a drummer, not a recorded song.

Just download a bunch and try them. Most books start with beginner stuff and get progressively harder, so you can pick whatever sounds interesting

Only stick to the guitar if you actually like it and physically like playing it or else you'll just waste time. If lessons and habits didn't stick with you it might be best to try something else

also I played piano for 3-4 years as a kid so I had a decent amount of theory shit behind me already
