Oh my fucking God
Oh my fucking God
yes more like no
Can I get a rundown on this 90210 posting shit
Trevor Horn was a really good producer.
one of my favourite yes releases .. i dont think this is a popular choice but i lik eit
better than Fragile
Age of Plastic (sadly) beats the shit out of 90125
also this quote from Zappa about the state of 80s music is amusing
>"They won't even listen to the tape, in fact they don't even care about the tape, because they can always get Trevor Horn to fix it...."
>Age of Plastic (sadly) beats the shit out of 90125
Not to me it doesn't.
IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU
IT CAN HAPPEN TO ME
IT CAN HAPPEN TO EVERYONE EVENTUALLY
I genuinely believe that the less songs Yes has, the better the album is
Close to the Edge (3 songs)
Relayer (3 songs)
Tales From Topographic Oceans (4 songs)
The Yes Album (6 songs)
Drama (6 songs)
Fragile (9 songs)
I think you're onto something.
when "Yes" starts to turns to "No"
this actually explains Union pretty well
my favourite song is Changes
What's up with all the Yes-posting tonight
Different band
I agree. Let me add Going for the One and Tormato to round out their classic prog period.

I have Relayer as #1 and TfTO as #2 but otherwise this is exactly how I'd rank my Yes.
Going for the one is dogshit
doesn't take much user
I excluded GftO because it made the list stray too far from my own. I would have The Yes Album and Drama be higher.
Very fair. Drama gets shit for the lineup change but its still a great album.
Why? Its in the vein of Relayer and CTTE but with satisfyingly concise tracks. It's also a great example of being accessible without sacrificing progginess (unlike Tormato).
Fragile and TYA the only exceptions to this.
Fragile really isnt Yes at their best.
GOODBYE GOODBYE GOODBYE BAD
