Murder Ballads was the first Cave album I ever heard but yeah, I'd place quite a few albums above it, both with the Bad Seeds and his other bands.
It's still pretty good and I'll take it over any turd Gira shits out, but it's rarely an album I'm in the mood for nowadays.
