>big change in musical direction (usually a folk songwriter) >dark lyrics written and sung by me >music by my friend >partly inspired by Tom Waits and Nick Cave
I dig Dune Defroster. There's a lot of interesting textures melting into each other, and the drum programming kept the momentum going. Coastlines was pretty badly mixed and not very appealing, but Shunt and DD show glimpses of a great potential. Keep at it.
Also, not sure how this album is racist, but I wouldn't advise using that as a selling point.
Great vocals, good production. Needs something extra to make the drums really pop, they sound pretty computer-y. The second track is really great. My stuff -

- every track is different - currently uploading a track a day - loops and transfers from tape - produced as a creative exercise while recovering from a sports injury
check it out, you might find something worthwhile.
Still no dubbi? FINALLY we've got him banned for good, I'm so happy. If he doesn't post in the next few days(just to make sure) I'll start posting my music again, I hope you guys haven't missed me too much lol -Asper
>Covers multiple genres in about 7 minutes >Samples classic soul in acapella, classical music, Daft Punk (of all things) & more. You wouldn't tell. >Soundtrack for an imaginary short film in mind >VGM-like

I love everything bout this. The vocals and guitar are mixed and played great.
i like the atmosphere of the guitar with the feedback and how the vocals are sorta buried in it

soundcloud.com/weirdstorms The top two tracks are new stuff from the acoustic record I'm working on >sounds of the ocean rising up and eating us all >melodrama over physical location >DOES the light here reach you too? >Listening to Tim Kinsella and Thanksgiving
so chill this is sweet, you perform in Melb ever? big sound, digging it wish i had some weed, this slaps. love this. reminds me of something from Kitchen Label. mixing is great. phat this is sick but wym "racist"?
cello easily one of the most powerful sounding instruments and the way you run it through all the delay and such only adds to it. the bits of chatter coming in and out at a nice extra texture. good shit!
production reminding me of like black tambourine but with better blown out basslines. yo your most recent hypnagogic pop track is sick too
I don't know if I'm a god or if I'm shit, it changes every hour.

>yo >yo >yo >happy medusa is searching for second percussionist after first moved away >lots of shows, lots of touring, opened for people on radio a couple times >looking for someone who wants to get back on tour with me
These are my recent two singles, I'm working towards an EP over the next few months ^_^ >Post-punk inspired >Folky flavourings >Rather Jangly >A bit off-kilter
Maybe a bit more feedback and open string droning would make the track feel a bit more full, but otherwise its pretty great. Perhaps think of another guitarist or perhaps a looper playing a droney part as well.
Honestly the tones and timbres are really nice, but to make it really immersive in my opinion would just be to make each track longer and layer some more similar sounds.
Really nice but development plateaus near the middle.
