These are my recent two singles, I'm working towards an EP over the next few months ^_^ >Post-punk inspired >Folky flavourings >Rather Jangly >A bit off-kilter
Recs You always push out high quality content and mix things up with ever new track, love it.
Chill af man, dig it. The vibe of lulu I great, didn't feel the ending though(3:30 onwards), I feel it ruined the flow, but really high quality and really hot vibes bro.
>artificial intelligence generated mashups >mainly rock and breakbeat >electronic and unpredictable >mainly instrumental youtu.be/AaY5xs0S3U0 Thanks for listening!
soundcloud.com/bummerneverends/meant-to-be new single, not that good but i was getting sick of it so i said fuck it very cool! i like the art a lot dam, sounds clean af bruh moment when i heard those drums on your soul lives on, extremely nice sounding dude, like dam holy shit wtf im outta my zone here the feeling of inferiority is setting in i regret coming to this thread big nice, deserves more views, added to my watch later so i can get around to hearing it all later on dune defrosters pretty dope, if youre actually racist i then i take back what i said cool, could be on the radio in the year 2025 the future when everyone is skating around on hover-rollerblades and drinking neo-milkshakes love the art, dam. some pretty cool sounds in this, something is the coolest imo anime vcr xannies meme bass music for zoomers, good job at doing that the intro has me on edge im ready to run im pure spooked outta my mind, maybe not what you wanna hear sorry, its cool tho i was feeling more comfortable with it as it went on OOH MAMA mmm im groovin, nice drums n synths, kinda feel like the song never went anywhere tho, like there was no "moment" idk not my kinda thing but does sound good and "epic"
Very cool vibe something I could hear on the radio I was just hoping for some more low end the entire time and even when the bass comes in at 1:35 it should have some more presence. I feel like theres a bit much going on as well, you might need to focus on making specific eq cuts to make it less harsh on the ears on some of your sounds if youre not doing that alra Mix is pretty good and singing is on point as well. Keep it up. Simpler beats will make for a cleaner sound overall.

Do you want to wake up to decent music? Do you hate default alarm clocks on your phone?
I've been doing this project for a couple of weeks now where I make a piece of music that is 1 minute long, every week. It's supposed to be a piece to wake up to (so an alarm clock), based on the rationale that the default alarms on your phone are ass. Every week can be different, based on which mood I'm in or what I'm inspired by. I'm on quite the digital binge right now. This week is an homage to dark drum & bass, next week will be techno. At the same time it's honing my skills in sound design and mastering; also making myself a huge sample library in the process.
Check it out if you're feeling it, also, stuff is free to dl if you want to wake up to some of it!
yeah i fucked this 1 up eh, appreciate the feedback brotherman

Nah man. You didnt fuck up, every song just has a different end result. Thats why, in my opinion, you have to treat each song differently and its always good to have a second set of ears you can send your songs to, to get a different opinion. Also if youre not already try listening to your mix on different speakers to see what its missing & needs. Overall the song is good, I would go back to the project file and throw on a kick tight onto your bass (if youre in ableton), if not use rbass, or boost the low frequencies above 25 and below 60.
Putting your own shit out is the point. These threads haven't had a point from the first one onward. Everyone just wants to shill and everyone just want to get those juicy views. No one wants to contribute, because that's not how the environment was created and this is not how this platform works. If you could FORCE people or at the very least heavily motivate people to contribute you'd have something productive. Anonymity and no upvoting mechanic or something else just creates these cesspools of soundclown dumps.

My stuff, just started recording on a whim so apologies for amaterurish stylr. vocaroo.com/i/s06ZVsQVHf6s
Really great mixing on this. Not normally what I'd listen to, the song sounds a little too squeaky clean for my taste, but there's no denying you've got talent.
Love the idea behind this. The vocal samples remind me of some of BOC's suff. The panning synths are really quirky and engaging.
>big change in musical direction (usually a folk songwriter) >dark lyrics written and sung by me >music by my friend >partly inspired by Tom Waits and Nick Cave
Rec as always.
The start is good, particularly how clearly you've got the wind chimes recorded, it would be good if the spoken word was more coherent though.
This guy is excellent, one of the best I have heard in these threads.
soooo cool man, really makes me think of Nick Cave indeed! also very surprised to hear this comin from you. btw how is the new album doin? I really look forward to it
thanks for the feedback btw!

Thanks man! I am thinking of trying to write an album of songs like this.
Album is finished, just being mastered right now, going to release it on the 12th September as I am doing a launch party that night. Got a nice venue and some really good local acts for support so looking forward to it.

awesome. doing things right I see! I'll try to stay in touch then cheers!
Thanks. I wrote the lyrics in ten minutes after having Red Right Hand stuck in my head, was pretty chuffed with it. Just sent them to my friend and he came up with the music, wasn’t necessarily what I had in mind but I have really warmed to the music.
I definitely want to write more songs like this so could be an album in the making. Ideally I want a lot of piano on it though, which sadly neither of us can play well, so could be a while in the making.
That sucks, there is potential for a nicer, bluesier sound with songs like that, especially for a Waits/Cave lovechild album.

My friend is a decent all round musician (I’m a competent guitarist at best) so I will see what we can do, I did want a sort of dark and dirty sound for that song but might write something a bit prettier for the next one and see what he can do.
Fourth and final single for my upcoming project Spider-Man: Redux. The album is based album on the original Spiderman video-game for PS1 Any feedback is greatly appreciated (:
