How do you fags listen to your music?
HEADPHONES/ EARPHONES/ MONITORS/ SPEAKER
KRKs for me. Monitors are the best imo - But sometimes I do use headphones for more of an intimate listen. Earphones for commuting but I listen to podcasts then.
Speakers because I'm not some NEET shut-in who still lives with his parents who needs to be cautious with the sound volume of his music.
>using speakers
These plus a subwoofer sound amazing imo. $200 for the pair
speakers at home, in ears for commute
Klipsch R-41M for CD's, records, and occasionally to play stuff off my phone.
VModa Crossfade LP2 for everything else.
unironically laptop builtin speakers
Ath m40x + equalizer
I hate headphones for listening to music
everyone does
i hate rokits with a passion, got them for $200 and still feel like i got ripped off. dont understand why so many musicians would use it
everybody using them is the single reason why everybody is using them
I prefer monitors, but i live in a shitty flat where noise leaks through the walls very easily so I use headphones most of the time
what are the best cheap monitors for both production and listening?
lsr or kali
good over ear headphones and a big ass stereo.
I carry around a power bank the size of a bag of concrete and a receiver along with my $5000 surround sound system on the train so I can listen to death grips at max volume everywhere I go.
In-ear headphones of course
link to these death grips surround mixes?
I own a pair of Genelc 8040s, but I listen through my
gamer
headset most of the time.
Mostly through Hifiman HE400i through a Schit Fulla 2. I also have some KRK 5" and their sub, Sennheiser HD600s, Schitt Vali 2 & Modi Multibit DAC.
Mackie HR824s, AKG K271s and right now, BD 880 Pros through my old X-Station.
Have you compared the two? I'm happy with my LSRs, but I've heard good things about the Kali
Headphones are Focal Clears, fed by a JDS Labs Atom amp and a Topping D10 dac which is the best measuring budget stack in the history of the hobby, we are in a no shit golden age for cheap headphone components.
Stereo is a Pioneer SX-1050 from 1976 and a set of ADS three way speakers on some sand filled stands, currently selling off my excess stuff to pay for a 12 inch sealed SVS subwoofer.
Did I fall for a meme?
yeah
audiophiles are literal faggots

Angry Beats buyer
at least we are actually having sex

Are these worth it?
Philips SHE forever
No. It’s needed for an outside sesh but not inside.
no. i had these to dj with. garbage shit
Ok gotta start saving for some indoor speakers cause I don't use my headphones very often these days.
I've been using these sexy motherfuckers recently
Picrel mostly (8 euro aliexpress buds)
Logitech Z150's for when I'm at my computer and dont want to fiddle with headphones.
I wanna upgrade to m50x's or m40x's, are they good or is it a meme.
Gimme the best sounding stuff in the 100 euro area.
t. europoor.
I use $30 chinese iems with a $60 bluetooth adapter.
Pretty good
Different tools for different jobs:
>Bose Soundsports in-ears for when I'm on the go and space is limited
>Sony WH-1000XM2 for when I'm at home and want something wireless and noise cancelling. Great for housework if I can't hear my Amazon Echo Plus like for hoovering
>Surround sound 5.1 flac albums I listen to on my PC via my Logitech Z906 speakers and an external sound card that supports dolby digital live (also prevents audio crackling onboard or internal sound cards can be plagued with)
It's a pretty decent budget setup. Only way to improve that would be to spend hundreds if not almost a thousand on a AV Receiver and a Speaker set.
