honestly i prefer very Drone inspired noise, i feel like it might just be because post-rock is something i identified with and understood very quickly and its easy to read and interpret a crescendo very naturally even in forms of media that arent audio-driven, the idea of a constant tone is Alright but i feel like for a more illustrative atmospheric sound the easiest way to go about it is drone-inspired

>pulse demon
>noise

this is nice and deserves more love

>some rocker making some guitar sounds
>the ultimate noise record

The noise elevates the boris tracks in a way I didnt think were possible. Also due to the mixing, you barely hear the guitars.
But I understand your skepticism :)

As for pure noise noise, I'd go with Ananga-Ranga from venereology. The chainsaw sample makes me pretty happy

also this is pretty nice

Noise unironically isn't hard to get. You listen to it for the volume and textures. That's more or less the trick of it.

Why was it difficult for you to "get" loud ambient music?
