Not even a top 10 Gizz album

its really not though

jfc shut the hell up

listen to Oh Sees. Why listen to the knockoff when you can hear the real deal?

>changes sound so no one catches on to their laziness

Wat?

>oh shit people are noticing that we've written the same Oh Sees garage psych song 15 times
>lets write the same Oh Sees prog song 15 times on the next album instead
rinse and repeat x infinity

it's not the first time you post this. I remember because of how ridiculous your post was. those songs sound nothing alike. check your ears, retard.

>gizzard switches to thrash a year after oh sees dabbles in the same genre
>buh buh the songs don't sound the exact same!
cope more gizz fanboy

Ah yes I remember the time King Gizz ripped off Oh Sees' famous jazz rock album? Or how about Oh Sees' famous spaghetti western audio book that King Gizzard basically plagiarized? Those King Gizz fellas are a bunch of no good crooks.

>jazz
kek king gizz fans actually think they made jazz
if you're referring to paper mache bullshit listen to any of Thee Oh Sees first 3 albums or Castlemania.
>spaghetti western audio book
what are you even talking about

Lol you haven't even listened to king Gizz have you?

I've listened to Mind Fuzz, Paper Mache, Nonagon, Microtonal, Murder, and Polygon. Of these albums Mind Fuzz is the only decent one, and nonagon has some good tunes on it but runs out of ideas real fast. They all very openly and obviously rip off Oh Sees though. In pretty much every regards, even down to Stu stealing John Dwyer's signature yelps.

Sketches of Brunswick East
Eyes Like The Sky
ur dumb

oh and i've heard select songs off of their other albums but never wasted my time listening to them

>Can't get into Polygondwanaland
Yup, successfully filtered

why would i listen to a shitty prog and krautrock imitation when i could just listen to the real thing? Or listen to Orc, the Oh Sees album that "inspired" them to switch to that genre?

because they took rhythmic density and polymeter to a completely new level that previous prog acts have never done

>>>/reddit/

polygondwanalad and microtonal are their best records tho, pleb.

if you think orc is even comparable to polygondwanaland and prog rock in general your actually retarded. theyre great albums but you are seriously grasping for straws here bud

kek
yeah sure if you've never listened to good music before
>dude it's just a coincidence that King Gizz switched to krautrock as soon as Oh Sees did the same

how in the fuck is polygondwanaland krautrock??? Maybe Flying Microtonal Banana but definitely not polygondwanaland

Polygondwanaland is not krautrock. King gizzard's closest thing to krautrock was FMB which was released almost half a year before Orc. looks like oh sees is ripping off king gizzard, friend :)

If there was more variation in the phrasing this would've been a genuinely amazing album

The repetition and rhythyms are signatures of krautrock, but you're right, i'm giving them too much credit, they probably used repetition out of laziness.
>FMB which was released almost half a year before Orc
what is a weird exits and an odd entrances and live performances

>pleb doesnt know my sons carried on my legacy

what repetition is there in Polygondwanaland? None that's as long term as any krautrock release... they use repetition as much as aybody else

some real intense mental gymnastics here lmao
