If this is my favorite album is it worth getting? How much better is it than the original?

bosse de nage shares a lot in common with older deafheaven, especially their newer stuff. I prefer their older material, has a kind of simplistic, drone edge to a lot of it

its a double cd so youll get the both the remastered and the original, just make sure you get a newer pressing of it cause one of the songs has a quick sound glitch supposedly. its also a tiny bit taller than the average casing size

Yeah, Carissa's Wierd is very unique. The slowcore tag falls very short on them. Be sure to also check out Bedhead.

Japanese shoegaze has a very original and defined sound, so it's kind of unfair to include them imo

On the other hand, I'll take latin american shoegaze over continental european shoegaze any time.

New west kust is a solid 9/10

I do like the new Westkust but Alvvays have plenty of great songs. I like their s/t a touch more than Antisocialites but both albums are good to me. Really like Adult Diversion, Party Police, Next Of Kin, Lollipop, Saved By a Waif, The Agency Group, Atop a Cake, Not My Baby, and their EP. Yes I did just name 70% of their discog, but they're a good band.
