cuz u have no taste OP

cheree is an amazing song other than that most of the tracks were either hit or miss

the fact that pic related is 13 overall on rym is a testament that all their users are a hive mind with little to no taste

Everything by Death Grips

Death Grips is literally just modern Korn, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot.

Yea all those bands own dogg

bad taste

this is such a great album
why can't you stand it?

I'm going to get called a zoomer for this but fuck it. Any of that trendy, twee indie shit from the 2000's; The Microphones, NMH, Arcade Fire, Andrew Jackson Jihad, etc. I don't know how people listen to such moany cunts honestly, but then I see what the current roster of 30 somethings are like on twitter and I'm reminded 'oh right, that's why'

To Pimp A Butterfly

Stevo himself considers that album a piece of shit and claimed that anyone who says it's good is a pretentious twat. But he doesn't mind if they buy it so he'll continue to reissue it until they realize it's shit.
He considers "Homotopy to Mary" the real first NWW album

Listening this first time now and wtf why's this so popular ??

Attached: images.jpg (225x225, 4K)

I hated this first time. Now it's my favorite album

what if i generally enjoy this album?

I disagree with this (except fuck arcade fire) but this is bold

>i'm great and i get everything first try
it doesn't work like that

>twee
Nigga you don't know shit about what you're talking about

Can agree but i guess the microphones have a few good songs.

no thanks

Yeah, I'm really not a fan of 2000s Indie Rock. Like, at all. In my opinion, Indie music and nu metal basically killed Rock in the 2000s.

Retarded plebs.

Correct.

Attached: 51nl3AVa7ML.jpg (376x500, 57K)

What dont you like about it?
Takes a bit to appreciate

Attached: MI0003395028.jpg (500x500, 47K)

Critics and bands love it, but I'm pretty sure it's always been a normie filter.

Both TMR and Revolver

A Love Called Supreme is the one and only jazz album I will ever listen to. It was terrible.

couldnt stand it at all the first time either, was hard on my head literally
then it grew on me
now its one of my favourites by far

Listen to more albums before sharing your opinions

retarded

correct

It's a pretty good album and it was very influential, but nowadays it sounds so incredibly dated.

lmao, I love these pants this is a great take

WHy is it so acclaimed

Attached: 81tEEDxT6RL._SX522_.jpg (522x522, 57K)

I guess I'm a pretentious twat then.

>it sounds so incredibly dated.
because of the production. musically is still fresh.

It’s repetitive as fuck. I like the beats sometimes but it repeats forever most of the time with the only differing thing being the Elvis impersonator’s singing

Wrong about Kid A pool

Basado

Agreed, Nu metal put the stake through the heart, indie rock put the final nail in the coffin.

Attached: pinkerton.jpg (500x500, 39K)

it's impossible to take seriously opinions on death grips from people who got into them in 2012 or later
by that point their fanbase was filled with retards that cloud people's judgment
it's just like people who started with YWGWYW commenting on daughters

>musically
suicide's songs have less complexity and variation in them than fucking brainbombs. The charm wears thin for me after the admittedly great first track. It's actually an appeal to me for these 70s synth-focused albums to sound very dated so that's not a problem for my enjoyment. It's just the songs themselves are so weak and the lyrics aren't anything incredible either.

long time i didn't see a reply as retarded as this

funny how he says that as Homotopy to Marie was the last good NWW album

I really tried to see what people see in it, but keep coming back empty-handed.

Attached: 220px-Titanic_Rising.jpg (220x220, 16K)

before the fanboys come in, i got two things

1. Joy Division's cover of Sister Ray is 10 times better
2. You can't listen to The Gift more than once

Attached: 220px-WhiteLightWhiteHeat_1985.jpg (220x218, 9K)

>he thinks Ian Worthless' cringe awkward vocals work better than Lou Reed's swagger
lmao
and saying you can only listen to The Gift once is like saying you can only watch a movie or read a book once

acid rap
to pimp a butterfly
pink moon
eversince
any tyler creator or earl album

i dont fucking get it

that is a really gay opinion to have

t. seething death grips fan

hate this shit

love these

Attached: 2669712.jpg (500x500, 142K)

Where to start with Nurse? I absolutely love Coil, Current 93, PTV, the whole England's Hidden Reverse, but never listened to Nurse nor Foetus or whitecastle

I can't stand Nirvana as a whole

Attached: 710XKXHIeNL._SL1400_.jpg (1400x1400, 183K)

the gift is the second best song on the album, listen to more jazz and improv music

based af

Can't stand this nor Closer

Attached: 812FS2R2v6L._SY355_.jpg (355x355, 13K)

It's truly the best neo-punk record

same here. you just have to listen while a little sleepy

NWW is one of the few artists that it's better to start from the latest and go backwards, the EP with Stereolab is GOAT.
With Foetus just start with Hole or Gash if you want something more accesible
Regarding Whitehouse, you just don't, just listen to 15 seconds of any track and you heard it all. Better use that time to get into the superior Esplendor Geometrico

fucking explain yourself!!!

This is the part where you boogie

Suicide [Red Star, 1977]
A friend who loves this record offers the attractive theoretical defense that it unites the two strains of "new wave" rock minimalism--neoclassy synthesizer and three-chord barrage. So maybe it will prove popular among theoreticians. For the rest of us, though, there are little problems like lyrics that reduce serious politics to rhetoric, singing that makes rhetoric sound lurid, and the way the manic eccentricity of this duo's live performance turns to silliness on record. C+

pure garbage

If I judged an album from my first listen, I’d like maybe two dozen albums at most

commit suicide

kys redditor

cmon this one's at least a 7/10
Phagits

Complete faggotry, Sister Ray should be in everyone's top 10 goat songs, The Gift is a song with layers, if you get bored of the story, listen to the music and vice versa.
Listen to more songs with a run time longer than 6 minutes.

(Cheree despite obviously being the best track is not the only brilliant track)
Money Store and Exmil are decent
Based choices

This was my fav album when I was 13, I still think it has good tracks
I like this but maybe it's because it was my ex gfs favourite album it reminds me of happiness

Also I love the Queen is Dead and Smiths s/t

Attached: smiths meatismurder.jpg (500x496, 84K)

Its not that I cant stand it, I just think its overrated as fuck. This is coming from a guy who hates the word overrated as well.

Attached: In_the_Court_of_the_Crimson_King_-_40th_Anniversary_Box_Set_-_Front_cover.jpeg.jpg (220x215, 14K)

meat is murder is better than queen is dead

you just dont get it
