Which is the best band

TJHE
so Hendrix alone is better than those three cats?
i only know the black one and he sucks
Cream is shit
Oasis
mitchell is a shit drummer and ruins those early hendrix albums
Clapton>Hendrix
What the fuck is wrong with you? Mitchell is one of the best drummers ever.
explain this
the experience imo
>mitchell is a shit drummer
fuck you faggot
>one of
he was THE best drummer
Cream has 2 good songs
White Room
Sunshine of Love
Hendrix band has 2 good songs
Little Wing
Purple Haze
both are shit
lol (You)
Badge is one of their best although George Harrison is partly responsible for that, it's not really because of the songs anyway, i mean, it's not just that, Hendrix is like a fucking benchmark.
youtube.com
he’s a fucking spastic and the gypsies were superior to experience in every way
The Zombies
Is he your granddad or something? what stake do you have in inflating his shitty ability?
Cream has
>Tales of Brave Ulysses
>White Room
>Crossroads
>Take It Back
Hendrix has
>1983
>Remember
>The Wind Cries Mary
>Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
All 8 are masterpieces
lol how the fuck is Take It Back a masterpiece?
Cream weren't great songwriters but they sure were great at turning blues standards into coke-fueld 16 min epics
This board is incredible. Every single thread is a bait thread and every single time people swarm to take the bait.
It just is
I got no problem with Buddy Miles but saying that Mitchell was shit...well that's just like your horseshit opinion lol
Besides weird fact, they both died in 2008
goodbye is cream's only great album and most of it is live renditions of shit they already released.
Where the fuck is rory
Their only great album.
Cream are absolute shit live as well, whereas JHE has boatloads of great performances
jimi hendrix experience and it's not even close
Gypsies albums are good but not great. The static funk rhythm really hinders Hendrix and his soloing isn’t that interesting, apart from Machine Gun but that has a bit too much gimmick for me. Really shows you important Mitchell and Redding were.
Cream is ridiculously better. Noel Redding's not even a bass player so he didn't even make an effort to play good lines. Mitchell's a good drummer but he's too much of an Elvin Jones impersonator. It's not about whether you prefer Hendrix or Clapton. Cream is a better BAND, Jack Bruce was a masterful bass player and Ginger's one of the best drummers of the 60's, he's better than Moon or Bonham or anyone you can think of.
Mitchell blows out Ginger it’s not even close, and the term delusional Elvin Jones impersonated is Baker 100%
Yeah Bruce is better than Redding but ultimately JRE has 3 incredible albums bursting with great songs and an endless list of excellent live performances. Cream has one great album and are terrible live
>JRE has 3 incredible albums bursting with great songs
What the FUCK are you talking about? Hendrix has like 3 memorable songs, the rest are all blues jams. That's why anybody can name drop Hendrix but nobody can name even two songs. Fantastic guitar player, shitty songwriter (except when he's ripping off Curtis Mayfield). Clapton's even worse, he's a boring blues purist and has only two memorable songs, Layla and Tears In Heaven. Clapton was already uncool and washed up in 1970.
>Cream has one good album
You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. 99% of Hendrix’s studio output were short poppy songs that rarely went over 3 minutes. The only “jams” he did are primarily on EL
Good, but not great
Just because Chandler had him on a leash on the studio and made him shorten the songs doesn't make the songs good or "poppy". Nobody knows or cares about Wait Until Tomorrow or Up From The Skies
And how are any of those songs blues jams again? And both those songs are great and showcase Hendrix’s diversity
fpbp
more like jimi roosterdrix
Jimi is the best guitar player imo
