Listening to Nick Cave for the first time.
His cover of Avalanche is absolutely shit, his voice is so fucking irritating, he sounds like a pantomime villain. Is there another album worth skipping to for second chance?

Nah, the guy's an overrated lounge singer.
it's not his best album but you sound like a pleb
I enjoy many “pleb filter” musicians but there comes a point when you draw a line, for me it’s where it sounds like a cat choking out a hair ball.
I used to think this then I saw him live
takes a certain amount of maturity to like nick cave
Fuck off, I listen mostly to musicians in their 60s and 70s.
Tell me a good Nick Cave album and I will give it a fair chance.
Let love in
>You need a certain IQ to understand Rick and Morty
Yes, listen to The Boatman's Call and if you like it start going backwards through his discography
Thanks will do.
>Fuck off, I listen mostly to musicians in their 60s and 70s.
why haha that sounds retarded
anyway try murder ballads, let love in or abbatoir blues
also why the fuck did you start with from her to eternity it's not even anywhere close to one of his best albums
unless you're a discography fag there's literally no reason to do this
I mean Nick Cave's stuff isn't something that's going to necessarily shake the foundations of your musical understanding or anything, it's a little more subtle than that
>why haha that sounds retarded
I like the modern output of a lot of musicians at that age like John Prine, Bob Dylan and Bert Jansch before he died.
I started with his first album as if a musician is decent it follows that their first album should be, though there are exceptions.
Most overrated Ausshit in history. I'd rather watch Crocodile Dundee than listen to this wimp.
Let Love In is the best entry point but The Birthday Party is his best work
OP again, quite enjoying The Boatman’s Call, big Tom Waits vibe to it.
strange but ok
I said let love in first so you should have listened to that first. I’m kinda upset with you
Sorry friendo :( I will listen to it
It’s okay, no problem bud
boatman's call
the good son
let love in (if you have to)
if after you listened to these and youre like BUT WHERE'S THE ROCK MUSIC just listen to dig lazarus dig and abattoir blues
listen to tender prey, it is very accessible
