Yea Forums guide to the 60's

Sup guys, I'm thinking about making some sort of essentials chart list for the 60's decade. Include all the genres I possibly can to fully represent the decade. Here's what I got so far. Got a couple of slots left, so what should I add? What should take out? Be objective and think what are mandatory listens to fully understand the genre (I.e. I don't like The Beatles but they're still a mandatory listen). Alright, guys, that's all.

bump

Any Country albums I should add?

>no ITCOTCK

I wanted to put it, but they didn't have the pic of the album on the site. Obviously mandatory

King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King
The Beatles - White Album
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
The Who - Tommy (fucking duh)
Beach Boys - All Summer Long
The Velvet Undergroung - White Light/White Heat

Janis Joplin
Joni Mitchell
Da Capo by Love
The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band

also why is VU and Nico so far down?

Google image the cover, copy image adress, and put the image link in the search bar and it will show up

thanks will do.

All Summer Long is there. I already have like 4 or 5 Beatles albums there. Will add Tommy though.

Placed them randomly, no big reason but that. But also cause I feel that a big banana on top will not look as cool as the covers I got.

Janis Joplin and TWCPAB is in.

Humble Pie - As Safe As Yesterday Is

Grateful Dead's American Beauty and Workingman's Dead.

Here's what we got, Anybody, know how to make a Roll Chart or a divide into categories? I think we're doing a really good job.

Put Crosby, Stills, and Nash in there right fucking now you dirty nigger, how dare you forget to put them in!!!

Deja Vu was mostly recorded in '69 so I would include that too!

Those are from the 70’s you fucking imbecile

and don't give them small album pictures either, fuckhead.

I'll just put Buffalo Springfield and keep Nash for the 70's list. That's Ok?

take out meet the beatles and put the white album instead

*with the beatles
in the black spot where in the court of the crimson king is you can type the name. just put "King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King" there

will do. I'm thinking of Keeping With The Beatles cause it basically showcases how Poppy the band started out, then I got Sgt Pepper, Revolver and Abbey Road. Maybe, don't know yet. If other anons think I should I will.

I’ll share with you what I want :

1.) The Moody Blues actually released better albums post Days of Future Passed (Namely Children’s Children’s Children)

2.) >Red Krayola
Nice

3.) Space Age Pop and Exotica are honestly pretty dope. If you’re interested in those genres I can give reccs

The Kinks - Kinks

Cream - Disraeli Gears

>No Blonde on Blonde or Freewheelin Bob Dylan, by Bob Dylan
>No Roy Orbison
>No Elvis
>No Aretha Franklin
