lovely drums and sound design as always, keep it up!
very odd production style, not sure if it's the style ur going for but judging from the tags it seems like ur doing the right thing
This is great. Newest track is unbelievably heavy.
Hope you play this live. 8/10 would get psychosis.
Sounds pretty similar to Sisters of Mercy, but thats a good thing. Like the harshness.

Catchy and cheerful, I love it!
This needs some work, there something there for sure though.
A bit too monotonous for my taste.

I don't normally like things too glitchy but you've made it feel funky in places and the sound design really helps.
ambient?! ambient horror movie more like.

Good but I wish the vocals were stronger/louder
You can make music, but frankly I feel the genre is saturated with artists who sound like the shins. You are one of them. I'd focus on doing something more unique with vox. But the songs, their structure, and recording quality are sufficient. The mix/master definitely needs work. I get that you're trying to make a big sound with only one instrument, but drowning everything in reverb is not always the answer.
ton of potential here, but I'd reiterate what I said for the last guy about getting into that saturated folky-ish stuff. Obviously your mix needs work. Your consonants are muffled and there are a lot of parts where you sound out of key, and my sense of key is pretty bad (my music demonstrates this). If you can hone in on your vocals in a unique way, and go more country (and I mean REAL country, perhaps even a rockabilly direction) I think that you could make something unique and inspiring. My recommendation is to listen to Dwight Yoakam. Not for the voice (although his is great) but more for the style... the rock/country fusion is a perfect blend, but more country than rock... if indeed you are aiming for country like you said.

Good guitar production and I dig the song, nice :)
nice songwriting and I like the guitar parts. Drums could do with a bit of work on the mix side though, more parallel compression. But otherwise the mix is tight
fucking dig this. the composition is awesome, love the synths. the drums could be better, maybe use better samples. that lead synth is fucking sweet though
>I feel the genre is saturated with artists who sound like the shins. You are one of them

I like your music, feel like the vocal delivery is a bit weird though

I would like to be personable here, is anybody else angry every day at least? I cannot describe it. It's almost like anger, but it's not red hot. It is like a burning impatience with things not quite directed at people, not really even directed at me, or anything. It's just a general anger I won't point at anything. I cannot sit still, and I do believe I actually hate music.

Interesting concept. Kinda like a black metal meets blade runner
This is so well mixed! Lovin the analog techno vibe and the chord drone at the end

Good work Mr OoOga!
Do what I told you to do.
I'd tell you put more effort into your posts but you can't even but you can't even be bothered to put effort into your music.
Then you should pick up a dictionary
You should actually try to enhance your beats/rhythm by using more extreme polyrhythms

This is a really strange and off-kilter beat. The synth choice is fantastic, reminds me of something that would be played in an 80's arcade.
Love the analog synths on this. Feels very Vangelis-esque. I'm not incredibly in love with the vocals, but they definitely fit the mood of the track
This new track is fantastic. The beat is driving, and I love the lead synths on here. Feels like a more sinister Ulrich Schnauss. Solid structure as well, constantly engaging

production on this is great, everything sounds SO good and the song is catchy too, vocals are horror punkish to me
was not expecting what i heard when i listened, the synths in the back are so cool and add so much to the song, love your singing
the melody is super chill, and love the production on this
Pretty grimy stuff.
Learn to produce propper hip hop you beginner
B O R I N G
What equipment do you use
Try to experiment more
Fake country
Definitely boost your bass
Not bad overall, but bro heres a tip
for getting your guitars to actually
sound heavy:
Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive"
all the way up. Turn other volume
knobs down to get the loudness
you want. Once you've proved
you can get heavy distortion,
dial things back to find the tone
you want. Focus on being LOUD!!
Some amps won't distort at low
volumes, mainly because that's
dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like
this, either just play loud or give up
You should be recording with analog if your going to rep the 80s
Maaaaan yo! this is so boring
>spotify
Yup you know what i'm about to say
Learn to explain yourself better you n00b
Copypasta boy
Boring. use more fuzzed out electric guitar
Not experimental enough
Me
Disgraceful to R&B you suburban poser.
Plus Your beats are a bit generic and
I recognize the Samples.
the sample sounds like it was
recorded to a 15ips tape machine
with a live drum machine going straight
through a console, and the drums
are coming from a drum machine,
synth, or stock DAW drum
samples, chances are the context
won’t make sense, you should
always focus on that crispy sound
quality bro.
In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what
can I do to make these drums
sound better, like they BUMP to the
sample, but still stick out and hit
hard?” Bro... Think about it like this,
it might mean you have to be
processing to the sample, or
processing to the drums, or both.
And generally needssome
experimentation to make it BOOM
in the speaker. And also mmatching
the space is super key. This isn’t
easy, it takes a really ADVANCED
ear like mine. But if you can train
yourself to listen to the ambience in
the sample and recreate that
ambience around the drums, but
don't get confused. You follow?
Next turn up the EQ low end (bass)
and ta-da you're better.

love this, has a really nice retro feel to it. Reminds me a tad of Flaming Lips but more glitchy. not a huge fan of the section after 1:30 --- seems off. Otherwise its a delightful track.
beautiful track. very nice sound design here. love the vocals, they come in really well. This is one of my fav things ive come across in these threads recently, great job man. liked and followed (:
interesting stuff. gives me some Flylo (Los Angelas Era) vibes. i fuck with it a lot actually, you did a great job texturally, the sound design is on point. I like the drum programming here a lot too, all around you snapped man ! my fav part of the track is at 2:00 when the synths all come back in. Liked and followed, this shit slaps hard m8.
>Making anything emo after 2008
LOL
Not intellectual at all, plus You need to Learn how to boost your bass.
I can help you out quite a bit if you ask,
but for now what you need to focus
on is Making great bass patches.
to make a beginner bass,
get a defult patch in Harmor,
turn the low-pass on A to 10%
and 0% on B,
and then turn the Sub up on both
A and B,
next turn on some slight distortion
and then EQ the sub in the mixer
up all the way.

this got loud faster than i expected, the chord progression is nice, and i like the balance of the guitar and bass. wish the drums were louder though. end was awesome.
i really like the texture of the guitar but not super keen on the song as a whole, it didn't really feel like it needed to be 6 minutes long, but that's probably part of the genre or something.
really liked how subdued 'no answer' started off, the high synth is a bit grating, and the vocals are a bit overpowering. (plus i kinda just don't like them sorry lol) the chords and melodies are great, really liked the end section in particular.

Very amateur. Sounds like really weak video game music. The songs go nowhere and the whole "epic" chord progressions and 2013 dubstep drum sounds are pretty wack.

Ok, so basically this is what you need to do:
-1st buy fl studio,
its all you need at 1st
-2nd make a kick/snare rythem
-invite some producers over to
hang out and get them to help geta
melody / bassline idea
-3rd get some studio time,
4th, get some experienced
producers to work with you during
your session(s)
5th let them do whatever they want
to the song to make it good.
6th DONE! you have a new song
you can upload online and start
blowing up.

the monotone flow doesn't suit that beat imo
also overdubs and adlibs on the tracks would make the freestyles sound better
idk what im listening to so i cant leave feedback
not a fan of breakcore i feel like this tune would sound better if u made it a straight up dnb track with trap influences

this is the first song ive ever wrote please be easy on me fellas.
Follow the thread rules or get ignored.
okay in addendum
beat is super generic, flow is nice but make sure you use consistent enunciation, and try to stray from stereotypical lyrics
This sounded super great, but the background synth was super loud in comparison to the breaks. Also try to give any open percussives room to breath so they font sound muddy.
The breakcore-y parts are super rad, but the trap influenced stuff feels like it ruins the pace, however at a couple points they gelled really well.
wait shit im
not
There's not enough bass synth presence. Also, I feel like you could do something with the backing pad to make is stand out a bit more. Like it needs grit, and maybe even sidechain compression to make it jump out and balance the repetitive drum beat. That said, its not a bad start. It's repetitive and loopy but I suffer from the same problem.
I'm
thanks a lot dude i appreciate the advice
