Why don’t musicians have there own food? Video games have food tie ins and cartoons have there own cereal. Even pro wrestling does so why not music? Closest I can think of is the California Raisins

Never heard of Cherry Garcia?

lots of music bands make beer, mostly washed up metal types i think.
this counts because for musicians, beer is food

I swear AC/DC had a energy drink at one point but I’m probably mixing up boomer memes with reality

They did

Quite a number of bands/artists have jumped into the beverage game, a bunch of rock/metal bands have their own beer, the rapper E-40 has his own line of wines...

Grateful Dead had nothing to do with the ice cream, B&J are just a couple old libcuck hippie burnouts who thought up a cute name for a flavor.

Don't cut yourself on that edge whitey.

What edge? Ben and Jerry are literal anti-Trump libcucks. How fucking new are you?

Imagine not even being able to enjoy ice cream because you're such a trumptard.

Imagine supporting a company run by a pair of hebrew bernie sanders supporters who support LBGT faggotry and rapefugees by wasting money on overpriced mediocre ice cream when there's far superior brands out there.

Do you always do extensive research on whether every food item you buy was created by a conservative or not? It must take you hours to go grocery shopping, what if the kid bagging your groceries hates Trump too?

Not the guy you replied to- But no. If I was to buy from no corrupt brand I would buy from only farmers markets and that would be questionable. Nestle and fucking Ben and Jerrys are the most egregious cases though. So fuck them.

Absolutely seething.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Buy whatever you want.

Not as much as I should. I don't support communist loving shithead liberals. If a band/artist come out and proclaim they're liberal, I tune out. If a company like Ben & Jerry come out and proclaim they are liberal, I don't purchase their products. Just like you would do the exact same if your favorite whatever came out and proclaimed to be anti-whatever you like. Please don't act like you wouldn't.
>It must take you hours to go grocery shopping, what if the kid bagging your groceries hates Trump too?
Nah, I get my shopping done pretty quickly, as 1. kids bagging groceries is a thing of the past here, and 2. grocery check out isles aren't exactly the place anyone wants to discuss politics. And even if a kid was bagging my groceries and said he was anti-Trump or welcomed refugees, I'd still call him a shithead. What is he gonna do, lose his job at me? LOL come up with a better imaginary scenario.

Every company with food in the grocery store is unethical for stealing value from their own employees in the form of profit. Even the store is unethical. There’s no way around it; I buy whatever I want.

You have no fucking idea how companies operate.

Someone isn't paying attention

Explain why you think that bro. Actually I do, to a pretty good extent

Do those companies have owners or shareholders, whose job it is to do nothing while sucking value from the company? Value which could be passed on to its employees, or to the consumer in the form of lower prices, or even to the whole of society by reinvesting to expand the firm to operate more efficiently or provide better products? That is unethical.

Ahemm.

>muh profits
1. companies have to pay property tax on the land the company uses.
2. companies need to pay for utilities, like water, gas, electricity
3. companies need to maintain their machinery
4. companies need to periodically purchase new machinery when they want to produce new products
5. companies need to pay their employees
6. companies need to pay for insurance for their employees
7. companies need to pay taxes
I can do this all night. You have no idea what profits are for, you think it's just for some business suit wearing boss to stuff his pockets with. Here's something your commie weed smoking friends never tell you, no company, ever, in the history of human civilization has ever been successful and stuck around for decades, even centuries by breaking even. When companies don't turn a profit, they fail and disappear.

Those are costs, stupid, profits are what you have after that and they either go straight to the owner or are distributed to the shareholders in the form of dividends, or else reinvested in the firm
