Fuck, this is actually pretty alright. I mean, yeh sure: Emo revival is fucking cringe shit and there's that plenty of that going in here (along with plenty of indie rock sensibilities); that being said, aesthetically there's an interesting vision being portrayed perhaps, even more interesting than the Twin Fantasy one, at least in more musical terms - This 'rocks' more for example. Who knows. If you take out all the melodramatism associated with jangly emo open chord and major 7th suburban ennui riding alongside le so epic passages you would have a more mature release, yet it is this juvenile catharsis which can actually be forgiven because at its best it manages to be so brimming with energy. Take out Sputnik Lover, it's not a song after all and its kind of shit. This is alright and I hate emo from the midwest of America shit. Isn't this kid like 17 or some shit? Fair play.
Fuck, this is actually pretty alright. I mean...
Had to find this crap through google reverse image search. It fucking sucks. There's some comment on the bandcamp page like "wow this almost manages to transcend music" hahaha what the fuck, how are you fags so pretentious about your shitty literal who garbage.
Fuck off.
(cont) this poses some questions such as: Can gen y say anything insidethe zeitgeist of rock music, or have we passed onto the age of the zoomer even in the narratives being portrayed in rock?
Lol, that is very cringe indeed. I would never go that far as portray this LP as something unique and worthy of a reaction like that. That being said, my post is more to do with the fact that this is a pretty decent first effort (?) even though it is very teencore. I was somewhat pleasantly surprised by it.
It's made by a tranny and is tagged as "LGBT pop" or some shit on RYM
for the Anons that didn't enjoy Weatherday's come in, despite enjoying the genre it's in, please give this a listen
you won't outshill him
easily aoty and i am considering if its my aotd great music i wonder what theyll do next
Ok, you don't need to bait that hard, it's just a good record that's all.
>whiny trans-wave
yeah but no
you fooled me last year with SOPHIE
fuck you Yea Forums
fuck off dickhead its my aotd
Come in ripps off Twin Fantasy, this album ripps off The Brave Little Abacus
Come In sounds nothing like Twin Fantasy
lol
It sounds like a shitty pop-punk band from the early 2000s with horrible mixing and a plethora of random other synths added in with no creative direction. The fact that people are acting as if this is pushing any boundaries is sickening.
honestly, this
>pop punk
retard
Sophies record was actually good though minus the cringe of ponyboy
Not that user, Ponyboy was one of the good tracks though
the vocals and guitar works are just derivative pop-punk and emo cliches. Cope.
lol
>Lock up the door
Put the pony on all fours
Crack down the whip
Make the pony bite the bit
Spit on my face
Put the pony in his place
I am your toy
Just a little ponyboy
Ponyboy
You can call me ponyboy
Ponyboy
I can't listen to this without cringing. I didn't like the ballads upon first listen, but now I only listen to them and skip the heavier tracks
The state of you fags being unable to defend your shitty record
>The state of you fags being unable to defend your shitty record
Why would I bother, you have shitty buzz-words that don't describe the music in the slightest, I'm just gonna call you a retard who can't seperate Pop-Punk from Noise Pop and be done with it.
I'm just going to call you a retard who can't separate pop punk from noise pop. Listen to more music
If you're gonna bait come up with your own insults and comebacks rather than going "no u".
This album is the epitome of basedcore. Why do I come to this board?
the album is incredibly based indeed.
But it's fitting. The guitar work and whiny vocals sound like every shitty pop punk and post 2008 emo song I've ever heard. They're sung with the same inflection
dilate
you're the one who called it basedcore.
Listen to some noise pop that's not just lo fi midi presets
Are you saying it's not noise pop?
BASED
>10 posters
>31 replies
Lol
Why would it matter? Noise pop doesn't really mean anything other than noisy pop.
lol
they're not based, they're the only people here with good taste
KEK OP shilling this album hard
lol
it feels like endless summer
>Implying I have even made more two posts on this brainlet thread.
Look, Yea Forums - I know you are musically illiterate and as of lately (maybe 5 or so years) You can't seem to discuss music without falling into culture wars shit flinging. It's passable record nothing like either side is making it out to be. Yes it can be quite s o y at times but at least its a high energy and fun in a juvenile way.
based j
I only criticized the music and agree that we should focus on the quality of the music other than attacking each others taste and any cultural influences. I feel compelled to attack it when so many are shilling it like its anything above a 6. There is much more high energy music out there that's actually pushing boundaries
Take your RYM review back there please
Ohh how dare someone want to talk about a music album, instead of race bait or waifu queefs.
Have sex retard
I liked Sputnik sweetheart
It's like twin fantasy!
If the singer sucked ass
All songs sounded the same
The sound quality was absolute dogshit
And you couldn't hear what he was saying despite the lyrics being very important
Are you describing Twin Fantasy?
It's obnoxious that people compare Come In to Twin Fantasy when Come In is much closer to shit like nouns and Shinsei Kamattechan.
Not to mention Twin Fantasy is fucking garbage
based
Shinsei Kamattechan! that's what it reminded me of. I remember when they used the be meme'd here ahh, yes sir.
people who compare come in to twin fantasy have no fucking idea what they're talking about, Come In is a logical progression and an answer to Nouns.
I fucking love Nouns so I love this album.
GARBAGE ALBUM
Heard it sounds like Twin Fantasy, it doesn't. Now quit shilling, it's not very good or interesting.
