he's king of boomer normies
Prog rock is about as technical as metal. They’re both baby’s compared to jazz, and jazz is babby compared to classical
shit! forgot about that one
metal isn't challenging, at least not as much as jazz and classical
Prog & Math desu
but that’s only the closest, with a wide margin.
why do metalfags absolutely love jerking off to how "technical" metal is and pretend it's anywhere near as important as jazz or classical?
technical requires skill,
people watch sports for skill
this is a common theme
its funny tho that all of those genres sound like endless noodling to the average normie.
IDM & prog to a lesser degree
My tastes are stuck at age 12
Finally someone understands
>metal
I don't think they hate it because it's wanky, it's because they can't make out the "song" in it and it goes right through the other ear
>metal
Snuck that in there didn't you, fag?
Classical can be a lot babbier than jazz
There's a ton of folk music that's crazy technical as well but that's halfway into classical territory
>tfw tastes never got stuck and are considerably different from what they were like every 2 years or so
feels good
But I stuck around with Classical though for some reason, Baroque mostly. The rest changes a lot
More like metal is for the challenged lol
the metally challenged
I’m not denying that there are specific jazz pieces more complex than specific classical pieces, but taken as a whole classical is more complex/technical than jazz
that just means you're a genre tourist
ironically that guy has shit taste also
what does he even listen to?
Probably mucore
I swear to god if he's one of those death grips shitters Im never watching his vids again
any genre can be technically challenging if you write it to be.
I'm assuming the thumbnail is a YT video. Anyone have the tl;dr for it?
No, he's not mu core; he's probably listened to it but he's essentially a jazz guy
His name is Adam Neely, just watch the video
kind of blue, le red jazz youtube jap man, and the list goes on :^)
I couldn't find it on his channel, and a link I found of it from a response video as it's unavailable. Can I get that tl;dr now, or a direct link?
Penis, cock and balls, dick-suck, I'm gay, the list goes on
Looks like the video might have been taken down, probably for copyright reasons, but I remember it being basically a summation of the title - that your musical taste is largely cemented at an early age through your early repeated influences
>tfw basically listened to nothing at age 14
he apparently is an expert in "improv jazz bass" which im sure the economy can support a couple million of
rate his band's track
youtube.com
I think it's pretty good
