If I pick up the guitar now and watch like 2 hours of tutorials and practice 2 hours a day, how long until I can play my own songs without coming off like an awful guitar player? I learn kind of fast.

It depends on the style. If you’re doing folk, at two hours a day you’d have a good repertoire in about a week. Rock, maybe a couple weeks. Jazz guitar could take a month. Classical a lot longer.
It should be stated, these are all incredibly fast times to learn. I’m assuming you’re acthally putting effort in and practicing+learning something new every day for two hours. If you fuck around for fifteen minutes every day, you won’t learn dick for years

it really depends on what you want to make and there is also a bit of luck involved. they might be giants write some of the absolute greatest music ever, and their songs usually have like 3 or 4 chords and are extremely simple to play. learn all of the major and minor chords, from there the only thing that matters is if you can write good songs, simple as that.

there's no answer. you get there when you get there. just play. play a lot. learn songs, by ear as much as you can. getting autistic about exact timeframes will not help you.

i remember when i was intermediate id have dreams about playing guitar where id figure out new patterns, it was pretty awesome but hasnt happened in a long time.
