I feel like just heard the same song like 7 times with only 2 hits

I feel like just heard the same song like 7 times with only 2 hits

he is gay and black so it’s a masterpiece

Overrated beyond belief. Goes to show how little music these kids have actually heard

yeah but at least it was a good song 7 times
it's a decent album, people are raving over it cause it's been a dry year.
Listen to Apollo XII by Steve Lacy for more varied funky music. Steve writes shit lyrics but he truly understands how to make fun music. Much better than tyler "7 chords on E. piano lol im so creative" the creator

this.

as fucked up as it is, that's actually the truth. flowerboy and igor sound like the same tired bullshit that tyler the creator's been churning out for years. they sound just like cherry bomb only with better mixing, and yet cherry bomb was critically panned. if anything, i think cherry bomb might actually be a more exciting listen than his last 2 records, i mean, it's still shit, but at least it's less predictable.

Agreed. Cherry Bomb is his best, but that said it’s still nothing spectacular. Just because no one else in the top charts is doing his particular brand of uninspired neo soul everyone eats that shit up like it’s the greatest thing ever

AOTY

>Steve Lacy

Jesus christ
Anyway the criticism on Igor is justified, but I still think it's at least 8/10. More depth than one realizes from first few listens.

You don't really have to try anymore once your fan base has been established as primarily 14 year olds

Yeah I'm disappointed, there are so many great ideas but he just lets them stagnate. Also he/his features can't write a melody

I think tyler watched too much sissy hyno, seriously though, what the fuck is up with him lately. It's like he's trying to act like the stereotypical gay person, but at the same kind of questions if he really is or not. It's so strange and awkward to watch him lately. he's so flamboyant and annoying that it actually makes me cringe. he'll probably regret this phase just like the other ones in a few years.

Why does he still act like a teenager at 28 years old?

Honestly the Steve Lacy album wasn't that bad. It's much better than The Internet's shit tier music for sure.

He's got a lot to work on to have a solid project but the potential is showing in Apollo.

No dude, it's not just acting like a teenager anymore, now it's a teenager with autism and adhd going through a sissy phase, it's even worse than before. i was 15 when wolf came out, i outgrew Tyler a year later, a fucking 16 year old grew out of Tyler's annoying bullshit and Tyler's almost 30 and still doing it. And it's not about "maturity" I don't even like that term, there's tons of older artists who are "immature" and yet they're interesting and cool people. Tyler is just plain embarrassing and unbearable.

Pleb OP doesn't get it...

This album is a masterpiece.

I can bet a good fiver that they have
Kids these days are worthless and put their time into worthless things like listening to more music
Tyler literally has always been a humongous faggot

I don't think he ever recovered from his falling out with Earl and the end of OF only made it worse.

>his falling out with Earl
?

Both him and Earl pretty much got destroyed by that and also by buying into their own hype. New Earl had some great instrumentals, but his lyricism got so lazy and downright stupid it's sad to see

Hodgy is the most based OF member

Earl's delivery, lyrics, cadence, it was so fucking refreshing. EARL and DORIS were amazing for that, the lyrics and delivery started to fall on IDLSIDGO but it grew on me, but now I don't know what the fuck Earl is doing, he lost is uniqueness to me.

You 5 years late dude?

Yeah man I feel that. Honestly think the weed fucked him up badly.

i wasn't kidding about this^
i'm serious, can someone actually explain what the fuck is up with him?

Provide one legitimate source that they fell out then

Alright one minute, I'll go find the Dr Phil episode where Odd Future are publicly airing their grievances with each other. You're a fucking moron. Hodgy publicly bashed Tyler at a show, a lot of them don't talk anymore, Odd Future has been disbanded for years, Tyler is a queer now, half of odd future is M.I.A. Earl is a loner, a lot has changed. Look Around. It's not 2013 anymore.

album is a classic, if you are desperate to shitpost a new chance album came out today

If it wasn't because hes rich as fuck I will feel shame for him.

Its really sad to see someone acting like that at 28

Maybe he's always been this way and realized he doesn't have to be HARD anymore now that he has an audience, he's the reason why colors most people in his circle and niche would call fruity is now synonymous with them and the Soundcloud rap scene so he obviously actually enjoys bright colors and cutesy soul

can't wait for the bubblegum eboy hipster rap phase to be over

He should make an album lampooning ringtone rap just to do something different, I swear he's using the same 2 chord progressions every song now

redpilled

This is a product of the economic bubble. In 18-24 months we'll see limp wrist sadboy rap go down the drain when these late millenials can't afford shit and either become radicalized socialists or join a gang to put food on the table

sauce?

that’s a man, faggot

Tyler peaked back when he was basically just the rap version of Mindless Self Indulgence. Him rebranding to be genuine is dumb, not as fun, and not nearly as interesting.

he asked for sauce

>kids these days
how old are you

didn't like it at first, but it's growing on me.

true but sad
