I like other Kanye albums but I don't really get the appeal of this one. I get the theme of the album and all that and think it's pretty interesting. Also the album art is awesome, but when I listen to it I just get fucking bored. Maybe the appeal of the album is on the lyrics or something.

What a piece of shit, my favorite genre is post rock, and even considering that probably this is one of the most lame albums I've ever heard.
It's stunningly inconsistent: sometimes sounds like anything derivative from the 90s (I don't even know why volcano exist), but the majority of the time sounds like a washer trying to do crescendos, yet in a mallgoth fashion people think something needs to be peel off slowly to any sort of comprehension, when every fucking ambient, drone, post rock, album etc have that, and even in that way other genres do it better, but yeah take swans as this "filth, degeneracy, edgy whatever band" as you please, niggers.
