I listen to everything except country and rap

>i listen to everything except country and rap
Be honest. Have you ever said this? Cause I sure have...

maybe like 7 years ago when I was a awkward teen fag

>was
You ain't fooling anyone, kid.

I say it to this day

not everyone is a high schooler like you, scum

>I listen to only country and rap

I said this about 5 yrs ago irl. I would say this to normies nowadays except now I listen to memphis rap.

based

No but I used to share that you say Kesha I say Korn shit on youtube comments when I was like 12

I was one step worse, I would say: "I listen to everything except country and rap, from metal to taylor swift." I really did listen to metal and like one taylor swift song, I just didn't think it was that common.

nah i'm not american so mentioning country would be off. And anyway if you get that question just say you listen to normie alternative rock like Nirvana and Weezer, it'd give the image that you're deeper into music than radioplebs but still not overtly pretentious

12 year old you was pretty based

>like one taylor swift song
Which song?

I listen to everything except rap

based and redpilled

I listen to everything except punk and metal.

And jazz. I don’t listen to jazz.

nirvana and weezer are radio "artists"

yes and they're twenty years past their peak, so if you're finding out about them today is because you listen to something other than top 40

imagine not listening to punk
most people who say this do so because they are either
a) turboplebs
b) have a totally wrong idea of what constitutes "punk"

You are a turbopleb.

I never said it but I used to be le ebin metal kid even though I only listened to like Iron Maiden and Megadeth.

I listen to everything except alt-country and trap.

i like old country and folk music quite a bit (think Johnny Cash)
some rap is okay but i do not like the vast majority of it

get outta here, snoop lion, punk blows
all of it is supposed sound bad on purpose

i have listened to every single music and all country and rap are bad and everything else is good

so yes

100% redpilled would be just country

I've always said "I give everything a chance".

Hi there!

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of Yea Forums are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!

Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!

how is johnny cash bad.

Love story

Sorry for being mean to you in that one post, I’ll change my ways

real screwhead

I've said I listen to everything but "dance music", by which I meant any electronic music genre.
It's actually still largely true.

is this a new pasta

It’s not new, but you seem to be.

The only thing that I listen to that even comes close to what the genre entails is Andrew Jackson Jihad and some post-punky new wave. I’m not a giant fan of the wailing or heavy instrumentals that a lot of bands use. Also, some of the harshness and other ideas associated with the genre don’t agree with me- I’m a fuddy-duddy but I respect others’ choices to enjoy punk.

I ain’t no turbopleb, however, I’m a master of psychedelic folk music muhfugga. Naamsayin’?

I've said this many times. Is this a bad thing?

Yes because you don't REALLY listen to everything besides country and rap.

No because I listen to plenty of Johnny Cash and a bit of Kanye.

But i do...

maybe when i was like 14

no just rap

but what am I meant to say?
>"bro what the fuck is shoe gays I asked you about music"
am I supposed to lie about what I listen to?
am I meant to just say the normiest thing I listen to?
If I don't use the "everything" line I'll just dodge the question with "oh yeah lots of stuff recently"

Just fucking explain what shoegaze is its not that hard
>oh its a type of rock music

I dont listen to rap. Genuinely bores me, it's like shit dance music.

I listen to everything except country, rap, hip-hop, prog, classical, pop, rock, romantic, post-rock, new-wave, ambient, baroque, medieval, shoegaze, industrial, minimalism, any metal, and acappella

What's cool about growing up is you start to identify as yourself and stop clinging to shit to use to define yourself. Nobody cares muh guy.

>"oh so like kiss and stuff? haha"
one week later
>"oh yeah user listens to music my dad would haha"

You disgust me

Country sucks aids ridden dick

Take one to know one, faggot

i think some weirder alternative rap stuff is ok
i feel similarly about metal; i only like weird alternative metal stuff

...

Same.

Country is the peak of American culture
