thats not uncommon. you can do cool jangly stuff with open strings in alternate tunings though.
It sounds like "bweeeeee*pzt*" because your action is too low and a bend on a high or very low string will cause the string to contact the fretboard, which is higher in the middle
You need a higher action for that not to happen, it's one of the many things referred to as fender-itis/strat-itis. Fenders were designed for country guitar playing, no big bends, lots of barred chord shapes being slid up and down.

There is no correct answer to that. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
Acoustic advantages: sound great without having to bother with plugging it into anything, playing electric will feel extremely easy if you start learning on an acoustic because an acoustic is harder to play
Acoustic disadvantages: might be too loud for practicing in certain circumstances where practicing with an unplugged electric (or practicing electric with headphones) would be viable. The strings require more force to fret and thus beginners will experience more finger pain before their callouses build up than beginners learning on an electric. This finger pain causes many beginners to quit the instrument, so learning on an acoustic could raise the quitting rate.
Electric advantages: easier to play, hurt the fingers less, can practice pretty quietly without disturbing others
Electric disadvantages: won't sound very good unless you make the extra effort to plug it into something. You'll develop less finger strength learning on an electric than you will on an acoustic because the strings are easier to fret and bend.

For me it's all about the electronics. I love the 2019 studio. High output bridge humbucker and coil split on both pickups means a shit ton of versatility.

Thread the string in to the tuning machine as taut as it goes, then slide it back out about one and half times the distance between adjacent tuning pegs. Now put a kink in the string to hold it there and start winding
Unless your strings are breaking or going out of tune quickly you aren’t doing anything wrong. I generally do two wraps on the wound strings and three on the thinner strings. I give enough slack that there is about an inch when you pull to the side of the twelfth fret.

RG, from what I've heard, is weighted a little better, more comfy to hold/play. They also have better pickups but they wont sound as much different as a good amp would make it sound. what you're really paying for is QC, lesser chance for electronics to fail or to get sharp/uneven frets, things like that. Then again they're both made in Indonesia so maybe that last part is snake oil if they're both made in the same factories
meh, the biggest caveat is that you should buy it in person if possible. and if you do buy from sweetwater and get a bad unit, you might end up having to pay for a set up or minor repair that would probably run 50-ish dollars.
so really not a big deal man, I'm just giving you a rundown. that one is probably fine, assuming you've done your research. I like the 5 way blade

They definitely are not for everyone, don't get me wrong. I'm a black metal autist so I tend to like treble-heavy screamer pickups, which the 490 sets do well imo. EMGs are nice but I've got a solid state amp sadly, so I stick to passives.
