Cool, oh and listen to The Fall too. I'd think you'd like them too.

I am looking for a chart I saw a while ago somewhere here.
It was based on common alignment chart (true neutral, chaotic good etc.), but instead of chaotic/neutral/lawful there were scale of how broke you are, and the other «axis» was a scale of your awareness of your own mental problems. On the intersections there were music albums that should represent that exact state. On «broke/fully aware» intersection there was Days'n'Daze — Rogue Taxidermy; somewhere — almost sure — also was some album by Death Grips.

looking at stuffrod. looks cool; thanks. i'm a jimbon drone to a small degree desu

Thanks for the recc user

As I've said in the last thread, I apologize for not having any recommendations for anyone here. I am simply not as well versed in music as some of you and people who have similar taste to me already know the stuff I've listened to.

Besides my chart, I also really like xxxtentacion, fifty grand and cocainejesus. I can provide all the songs I like from these artists if asked. For X, I basically like every song before his albums, even the obscure shit most normies have never heard of.

I also really enjoy classical music which I can also provide for you if asked.

why didn't you put up igor instead of goblin?

Chief Keef - Trap Symphony

>Chief Keef - Trap Symphony

Overall it's okay, I've heard it before.

I just can't stand Chief.

ah, I saw you only like contemporary rap so I tried to recommend something slightly edgy

The recommendation is good, I just appreciate that people like helping out here.

Its no problem at all.

I do like older stuff, but I like the sound of today more, especially production.

bump

yeah both of the recs i got were already on my chart
have you heard wipers - youth of america

d'angelo - voodoo
ini - center of attention

please listen to more kinds of music, stop listening to x and stop being autistic.

I will keep listening to X no matter what you say.

Thank you for these recommendations. I really do need to broaden my taste but a big problem is that whenever I have tried. I go on spotify, load up a album, lay on my bed, close my eyes and try to experience the album, it does nothing for me. I simply just don't like how the albums I've tried sound.

I will soon try albums I see on other peoples charts and maybe I can like some of them.

struggling with music or art you find difficult to enjoy is part of developing your own taste and not being stuck in plebshit your whole life. Its common to not like a sound the first time you hear it, but its way more beneficial to just give it some time and listen to it again later and see if you can find something to enjoy in it.

Music is extremely disposable these days with the advent of streaming services so no one actually wants to listen to things that don't have a "chill vibe", but if you actually want to get good taste you have to be prepared to not initially like what you hear. Some of my favourite albums I heard nothing in on first listen.

I understand, and I agree. I really should listen to some albums more than one time. But if I don't like the persons voice, it's hard to go back for a 2nd or 3rd round even if the instrumentals on an album are great. Voice is extremely important for me and determines if I l can bear with the album. I'm sure you can agree with me here. I seriously doubt anyone who isn't trying to be edgy would listen to an album multiple times if they hated someones voice but love the production on the album. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like most of the population can agree with me since voice is another instrument/layer to a song.

But please don't disrespect these albums just because they are normie tier. They are great albums, especially Taboo. Every track on there is great, and the whole albums concept follows a theme.
