Yessss, I only discovered it like a week ago and holy shit I can't believe what I had missed. Flipper fucking dropkicked Big Black out of my personal noise rock podium

No Trend is superior noise punk. Nihilistic with a wicked sense of humor.

You might like the sort of slower noise rock/hardcore of Drunks With Guns and No Trend. Side B of Black Flag's My War. To some extent, early Butthole Surfers and Melvins.

Side B of My War was basically my first exposure to this kind of hardcore. I really dig Melvins (Houdini is the shit) and the BS too. Will check out Drunks With Guns tho, thanks for that rec.
