These are my fuckin choices?
Idk. Probably axl>kurt>sid. sid was a literal retard
Idk if it's truer to rock to stay fit forever or stop caring about what people think and become a fatty
1. Kurt - solid songwriter, always looked super chill and intelligent in interviews, pretty insightful
2. Sid - looked cool, but other than that he was pretty much just a junkie/hooligan and a pretty terrible person overall
3. Axl - generic cock rocker
Sid isn't even a musician and should be disqualified for even being considered a rockstar.
>who was the coolest rockstar
>posts photos of David Foster Wallace, some random lesbian, and some random stoner
What did he mean by this?
Kurt would have said Sid
Axl Rose is a pretty intelligent person actually
youtube.com
Perfect example of kurt being a total faggot
This is why I believe in God.
1. Axl Rose - said the n word and got away with which was a pretty revolutionary act in human history, made cool songs
2. Johnny Rotten - pretty mediocre musician, boring shitty songs but was friends with dudes who wore swastikas shirts so pretty cool
3. Kurt Cobain - sad dude, cried a lot, kinda gay whiny music but catchy and fun
The only one that had any actual talent, Kurt.

Fag
two of them hated fags, one of them was one
Cobain after a week in the morgue.
My n-word
Kurt was a bluepilled onionsboy.
Rock is one of my favorite genres of music but the idea of the "coolest rockstar" never crossed my mind because I'm not a faggot that listens to music for the image
haha you sound like a total faggot with no friends
GG Allin
Eating your own shit is based?
I'm a total faggot with friends whereas you sound like a guy so cool he never made any friends because everybody is too intimidated by your Chad aura to approach you. Also you listen to music for the image so you're a fag
Out of these?
>Axl
The coolest of the three, personification of rock n roll, which means being "the bad guy" at times and damn good singer and songwriter
>Sid
He got the badguy part right....so he comes in second
>Kurt
Not a rock star, he was the anti-rock star which in a way made him a good one, but he was so anti it that I can't give him that credit, he was the birth of something new that I despise
In general?
>David Lee Roth
You can't deny he was the ultimate cool, likable, life of the party rock star....basically Axl only without the dark evil side, which could be a detraction, but he makes way up for it with pure cool factor
>Gene Simmons
Like Kurt is actually an anti-rockstar, but unlike Kurt loves rock and roll, just promotes doing it your own way even if it means being a huge nerd, and that's way more rock n' roll than just hating rock and roll, rules are meant to be broken but it doesn't mean you need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Fun is still good, sex is cool, no need to ever turn turbo soi like Kurt the would be incel
>Ozzy Osbourne
Nothing really needs to be said, he was a walking retard who was likable no matter what
Kurt Cobain >>> Axl Rose >>> Sid Vicious
Kurt Cobain was easily the most talented. He wasn't the most technically proficient musician, but he used his guitar beautifully, he knew exactly how to use his voice, and he was a great songwriter. In terms of how he approached being a rock personality, he was clearly very influenced by the 80s underground, from quirky indie pop bands like Beat Happening and the Pixies, to hardcore bands like Black Flag, he mocked celebrity. However, while that whole approach was a rejection of the hard rock cliches of the 70s and 80s, it's actually pretty closely reminiscent of 60s artists like Bob Dylan.
Axl Rose was probably the most technically proficient of the three. However, he's a pretty uninteresting figure. He's a by-the-numbers rockstar, and those are always pretty tryhard, hollow people.
Sid Vicious was a moron. He was literally hired because he looked the part, and he was convenient since he was a huge Sex Pistols fan and a friend of John Lydon's. He was so weak that he was prone to drug addiction. He was a waste. Glen Matlock was one of the most important parts of the Sex Pistols because of his songwriting ability, and by firing him McLaren sabotaged the band.
it's fucking Sid Vicious not Rotten you idiot
Isaac Brock was and still is.

He's still alive.

>have you got anything in common with iron maiden?
>I hope not
>*sips*

his entire life (and death) was based
No one has ever been cooler than Bob Dylan in early 1966.
Axl Rose later on the spot on Eddie Trunk's show with Sebastian Bach, Chris Jericho and Scott Ian said he only liked the first two Maiden albums...
Which kind of makes sense in a way, Axl's persona was way more rock n' roll than it was heavy metal, more punk in a way too. Gn'R never played into the whole grandiose mystical heavy metal thing and didn't relate to bands who did.

Maiden is better than Gn'R though

>not posting the video that includes Bruce rebuttal at the end
David Foster Wallace was a musician in his own right. Have you read infinite jest I've had. Nigher
What are those fucking sunglasses?
>brain dead drug addict
He's being pretty retarded in that interview. Most Iron Maiden's songs aren't political at all.
Kurt can be very pendantic but at least he wasn't a literal manchild like Axl or Sid, the three of them were tryhards
This
Matt Bellamy
>He's being pretty retarded in that interview. Most Iron Maiden's songs aren't political at all.
People always say this in regards to that interview and I feel like the only person who gets what Axl was saying when he said "bands are like political organizations" or whatever, he wasn't saying "Iron Maiden is a political band" he was saying "bands are like political organizations, meaning you wave a flag against every other flag that represents something you don't" in which case you have a band like Iron Maiden who was all true English heavy metal sword and sorcery shit and Gn'R who was more on the drugs sex and rock and roll shit, to generalize both bands of course. Which is of course an immature way to look at things, but I believe that's what he was getting at.
