Now that the dust has settled

Pusha T is a straight up talentless hack and ruins the first track. Kanye coming in and screaming out gun sounds is the only thing that makes it listenable.

Fire is a pretty good track all around. Vocal performances are great and I love the chugging guitar, reminds me of Twin Peaks.

4th Dimension is straight up fucking incredible, the sample of the old Louis Prima Christmas song that drives the song is literally perfect. I kinda wish it ended a little better, it just kinda stops but the actual song is perfect while it lasts.

Ghost Town Pts 1 and 2 are the best songs of 2018 hands down and Pt 2 is clearly the standout song on the album. It's done the impossible and has me convinced Kanye and Cudi could do an amazing rock album if they put their heads to it.

Reborn is a little repetitive and weak for my taste, I like the lyrical message but musically it's shallow.

The title track perfectly matches both the name of the group/album and the album art. It's tripped out and kinda playful but it has this menacing eeriness about it.

The closer is a good realization of the grunge aspirations Cudi had on his previous effort and leaves the album with a somber feeling and some really emotional lyrics and delivery.

4th Dimension is one of the best hip hop songs of 2018

anyone feels he has been inflating his scores way too much lately? he gave ksg a 10 but then daughters ended up being record of the year in his list. he also gave 21 pilots and billie eilish 8s which is way too generous imho. a 7 would've been good for both and still pushing it a little.
