Only non-fag in this thread since it isn't a faggot repress.

nothing wrong with represses if they are done right. Buying original copy of Quiet Kenny for 2000 bucks when the 55 bucks Analogue Productions reissue sounds better is true autism.

>Buying original copy of Quiet Kenny for 2000 bucks when the 55 bucks Analogue Productions reissue sounds better
You're a retard if you buy either since both are retardedly overpriced. If you're spending more than $20 for a record you're being ripped off.

So you don't know what Analogue Productions is then.

If you buy any other reissue you are being ripped off.

You clearly don't know what Analogue Productions is then.

They are not overpriced, fact is they are so good that I'm hesitant to buy anything else.

Don't need to know who they are. Vinyl is an inferior music storage format that has many limitations inherent to the format. Listening to music on vinyl is an experience, nothing more.

You absolutely are getting ripped off.

I mean yeah some new vinyl pressings are pretty expensive, but personally there's something special about having that physical copy, and vinyl as a medium just feels like it has more history and character than CDs, but personally I have no problem listening to CDs or hell even cassettes

wew lad, you’re displaying impressive levels of cope my dear poorfag

>Pros of vinyl compared to CD/digital
Larger album art and inserts

>Cons of vinyl compared to CD/digital
Narrower dynamic range
Treble can cause stylus runoff
Bass can cause stylus liftoff
Prone to dust
Prone to warping
More expensive
Takes up more space
Isn't portable
Holds less music

CD/digital are objectively superior formats in all metrics barring packaging. You cannot refute this. The only one who needs to cope is you.

The megadeth above you is original

These are my last 3. Also have the soundtrack to LSD and a bootleg of the sonic and knuckles soundtrack on the way.

I've found that it gives me a greater appreciation for music. I listen to streaming services all day at work, but when I put a record on I actually give it my full attention.

>Last month
TVU&N
CSHR - Twin Fantasy - Mirror to Mirror
Nirvana - Incesticide
Raconteurs - Help us Stranger

>This month
Pink Floyd - PATGOD
TVU&N, my second copy so I can have one with and one without the peel
Bladerunner Score

sounds like a personal issue

Maybe. I just feel like having immediate access to a significant portion of recorded music kind of cheapens our ability to process it and enjoy it. The medium has its draw backs for sure, and it can be a money pit, but there draw backs to CDs (disk rot) and streaming services (audio quality, albums being exclusive to some services).

Picked these up a couple weeks ago.

My most recent was Steroids back on RSD

kek, what a fucking fag

cope

hahahahahaha, the child is getting all upset

fuck you little bitch, cry more

judging by anecdotal evidence every single vinyl listener I've seen has been 10x more faggier than someone who uses CDs

more of a cd person but i recently picked up senzuri monkey metal action by the gerogerigegege

I felt this way too for awhile then got tired of the setting everything up just to listen to a few tracks. Once I filled my milk crate full of records, I quit collecting them and went back to streaming music.

Yeah, I feel the same. I just like collecting them, they're much prettier than CDs and also putting them and all is nicier. I get why a lot of people don't like them and yeah, they're pretty expensive, but I just think it's the nicier physical form of an album to just have as a collection thing.

Well, let people collect whatever they want. If someone had a stamp collection and paid, for example, 100 dollars for a very rare one, would you say he is being ripped off? Collecting things is expensive in general, but some people enjoy it and I don't think there's nothing wrong about it. The same way, I don't think there's nothing wrong with collecting CDs instead. I just think vinyls are prettier.

based

You don't know anything about vinlyl or why vinyl is loved so why are you posting?

Digital didn't exist before mid 70s meaning anything made before then was not meant to be listened to on CD or Spotify, you lose a lot range converting analog masters to digital.

haha ok another one who doesn't know anything, but feel the need to showcase his ignorance like a monkey.

if you are completely clueless then perhaps you shouldn't post.

By that logic you shouldn't listen to bethoven because vinyl was invented in 1877

shit

You arent listening to Beethoven playing, you are listening to his compositions.

How dumb are you?

I never said you shouldn't listen to pre 70s music on Spotify I said that it sounds objetively shittier on Spotify, which it does, and thats why you buy vinyl.

not for aesthetic reasons, but because it is objetively a much better way to hear certain records.

Oof. Even the reissue I get wet costs a mint these days.

Really new to vinyl. These are my first three.

I'm pretty sure NSFW is allowed when it's an album cover

What's the one on the top?

I got B& for posting NLDW once, tested it again with Surfer Rosa, B& again
