>I'm making generic industrial music and using misogyny as my gimmick
pass
>industrial
Pop industrial
and all the shitty bands like white house and steve albini werent using misogyny as a gimmik as well?
Explain how it's generic, you faggot fuck.
>Whitehouse
>shitty
extremely gay opinion
>white house
they basically invented the genre so it wasn't a gimmick
They were using it the other way around.
Just imagine listening to musician who despise your gender and even defending her. True example of a cuck knight.
>Just imagine listening to musician who despise your gender and even defending her. True example of a cuck knight.
explain how it's not
industrial with classical influences has been done before and better and they didn't need muh domestic violence to pitch it neither
how is talking about personal experience and trauma a gimmick? yet singing about love or being lonely or stupid shit like that is fine. the lyrics are important and obviously relateable to some. the fact that they upset so many of you shows how taboo a subject it is to expose how deeply ingrained this toxic masculine behavior is. personally the musical styles not my cup of tea but saying that type of lyric is any more of a gimmick than any other is stupid
it cured my insomnia, so thats something
The album title itself is a reference to the Roman Emperor Caligula, and that has a lot of interpretations from the start.
She's also heavily influenced by aesthetics found in Catholicism, just go look at the lyrics (a song starting and ending a song with kyrie eleison, vibrato at the end of lines).
There are a lot of aspects to this album that point to other themes besides her abuse.
i just hate women thats all there is to my criticism
>The album title itself is a reference to the Roman Emperor Caligula
you don't fucking say
>muh relgious themes are a part of industrial now wooo!
yeah they have been for a while mate, specifically christianity - I reckon you missed it though
>women can't be fu-
>While the events of her abuse were traumatizing, she says what came after was worse, elaborating: "He was arrested for assaulting me and some of my most traumatic memories are from being re-victimized by police, by my school, and by the court. The system is so fucking broken for victims of sexual and domestic violence."
>WAAAAH WAAAH my boyfriend stuck a finger up my butthole and look at these handprint bruises on my arse
>WAAAAH I'm so traumatized
>WAAAAAH the West is evil
AOTY by far
>generic
no
>the fact that they upset so many of you shows how taboo a subject it is to expose how deeply ingrained this toxic masculine behavior is
The problem is sheltered Western women being ungrateful for how good they have it.
is this album feminist ?
women should be grateful they get to be abused and treated like shit and shamed for being abused and called being a gimmick for speaking out about it!
Her previous album was better.
>edgy middle class white people music
don't expect good answers, this board had always shit taste especially when it comes to industrial stuff.
says the rap mongoloid.
Women should be devoid of any responsibility for anything that happens to them in life. Also they are just as capable of logical behaviour as men, but any emotion they experience should be treated as an ultimate argument.
No, just edgy larping(see: lyrics and track titles).
Fuck You
>how dare you, she singing from personal experience of trauma from rape or abuse or something I can't even decide which one it was
>but it's all edgy larping though... no-no it's not real... edgy larping
>ramleh
>good
Ramleh is far, far better than Lingua Ignota. Hole in the Heart is the musical equivalent of Stalker.
RYM and reddit are fucking disgusting. Fuck these meme albums
>PMS-driven demonic screeching into a microphone
We hit a new low in modern music boys
After listening to her album, i know personally experienced what it is like to be abused. My poor ears, please don't put me through this noise again
I was just reading some interviews with her and visited her instagram
Jesus she sure is an edgelord. Hate to say it, but i hope she ain't lying about the abuse
t. misogynist
Why can't it be depression-driven screeching into a microphone like the rest of Yea Forumscore?
I’m sorry, it doesn’t work like that.
>RYM charts
noone sane looks at that shit anymore
Sure let's assume that I've never listened to any sort of Industrial music. The criticism is that the whole album is a tirade about topics relating to feminism, when in fact it isn't.
>Christianity
There's a difference between critiquing the American Evangelical Christianity and Roman Catholicism you brainlet.
>shit vocals with tons of distortion to hide lack of talent
>mediocre piano skills
>template modern classical passages
>pathethic sound collage attempts
I expected something unique but this is just pop muzak with a bitch screaming
This just sounds like every other drone music I've heard, except Bastard Noise.
>ramleh
>death industrial
kek
>shit vocals
Contrarian detected. Her screaming and regular singing are great.
Seperate the art from the artist. And even if the artist puts their views in the art, it's still mostly the lyrics and lyrics aren't music. If understanding/agreeing with lyrics was central to musical enjoyment then no-one would care about Sigur Ros and Magma.
nope. its not very good at all. but thanks for playing
Is the kobaian mythos just a weird version of Scientology?
because GGOD NIGGER aaaah
>it's not good because I say so!
thank u, next
>the bastard noise, merzbow, boredoms, hanatarrarash, the list goes on and on...
Classical compositions and industrial music do not go together. This new trend of death industrial is shit. Atrax Morgue is rolling in his fucking grave.
Would be a lot cooler if she sang about menstruation in this voice, imagine how funny it would be. Unfortunately self-absorbed ladies like her often lack in the sense of humour department.
Because a woman made it
I dislike Ignota as a person but I love her music. I've learned that it becomes impossible to enjoy anything if you cannot separate the art from the artist. Try doing that. You'll be much happier that way. I know. Believe me.
i feel like good music is made to distract from exactly the themes and events that lingua draws attention to while also showing subtle awareness of said issues
some of the tracks do have that exalted vibe but a lot drag the listener through the mud
So does anybody actually know who this album is about? The guy who beat her is supposedly a fairly well-known noise musician also
Its bad because i can't read the fucking font, I genuinely prefer comic sans
It's actually wagnerian german nationalism with not so subtle nazi overtones.
I was just thinking about that the other day. I wonder why she hasn't publicly outed him yet. You'd think she would considering the themes of vengeance in all of her music.
I looked this up today because it was on the RYM front page and was surprised to see that it's some industrial release. The cover art made me think it's some hip-hop garbage
I would assume it's part of some police/court legal deal.
Oh, I see. Well, I hope he faced some sort of justice, even if we'll never know about it.
>huurrr it’s great cause I say so
Eat a dick hipocrite
t. didn't listen to the album
