Don't feel bad OP. Organic Chem is unironically the hardest class you'll ever have to take as a bio major, assuming you aren't pre-med that is. Many people fail it and still go on to be successful.

I am terrible at math and science and even I passed by studying more than I normally do. My airhead of a biology teacher in high school said she passed organic chem. Like and said, in most cases it's not a matter of wits rather than effort you put in.

In Europe it's still ok. Lots of pharma companies here and environmental chem is growing too. If you specialize in analytical you'll be just fine. I got a job 2 months after graduating in chem.
