I don't think age has much to do with it - if you think your tastes are too mature for JoJo you're probably thinking too hard about your own tastes. Sometimes coffee is best enjoyed black, sometimes a bit of sugar and a splash of milk is just right. Not all things sensory must be conceptually deep or a purity test unto themselves to be pleasurable or worthwhile. Watching a fat man fall flat on his face is and always will be funny - regardless of the lack of surrounding narrative structure.

I don't know, maybe everything I would've liked about jojo I already watched somewhere else. I watched Space Dandy recently and it's bizarre AND has stupid jokes. But the stupid jokes are well written and delivered so they still make me laugh, and while it's all bizarre, the characters don't look like chinese knockoffs, their voices sound like they come from real people and the animation quality is superb. Each episode is very unique, and the plots are fun instead of being monster of the week but with an english accent. It's just better in every way. When I started drinking coffee from my local bakery I couldn't enjoy nescafe anymore.

Girls' Last Tour's OST is SEVERELY underrated, honestly one of the best chill anime OST's of all time. I read manga while listening to it all the time.
