They just use a lot more filler. It's long and looks like an argument but it's pure rhetoric, not exactly a peer reviewed paper in the hard sciences, so it contains nothing that need be taken as truth. It's like the difference between a persuasive essay and a list of opinions.

This. I don't even hate Fantano but his opinions are entirely arbitrary and he barely even tries to hide it when something just isn't his personal taste. He's not interested in canon, he doesn't have a strong philosophy on what makes good art and he doesn't even pretend to. I still like watching him sometimes but it's annoying to see people parroting his opinion especially when noone seemed to have that opinion before his review.

that was such a weird turn of events. even weirder is Marcel just faded away afterward

i loved that little guy, i still get a kick out of his epic take-down of wildflower, although i will never forgive him for shitting all over blonde on blonde (who even does that?). the final event with marcel was when he went to some show and was physically attacked. he said that someone pushed him down hard from behind, and then when he was getting up they pushed him down again and ran off. he blamed it on us which caused a deluge of threads. after that the mods started banning any and all mention of marcel for a good few months. i think that was in 2016
