I am curious in which way do you think I should go more experimental with my work

It's basically an extreme modulation of one single sound: a kick, everything comes from it. Continuously being granulized and deformed in its timbric quality, also being glitched up by its transient attack. It's a very "in micro" kind of exploration. The only other different sound source is the synth the comes at the middle of the track. I used Max-msp for all the modulation.

Great and rich textures. Ghosts of Siberia has this heavy million suns vibe. Excellent song, would love to see a physical release.

I also use nylon string guitar and it has this sweet and rustic feel and your compositions are pretty good, kinda freak-folkish, it reminds me a little of Six Organs of Admittance. Thumbs up, bud!

the backing vocals you've added supports your voice well and you should do more harmonies and vocal overdubs in the future. this is your best sounding track yet.

is this from the rejected 2001 soundtrack :) it's great atmosphere but as it's currently not sitting in the background of another thing maybe there should be more shifts. i think you could do that without breaking the trance inducing nature of it.

Thanks man, most the remaining songs to go on the album have backing vocals so glad to hear it works. The production isn’t actually my own work, I go to my good friend’s house, sing and play my guitar or mandolin then he does the rest (all for free) with some creative input from me. He’s a good lad.

If you are interested here is my friend’s stuff, he’s more indie orientated and has some great songs.

Reminds me a lot of Reznor/Bowie's more drum'n'bassy material. Even the vocalist has some similarities to the former's more breathy/whispery tone. Production sounds flawless too, the hard panning on this actually sounds nice, not very common from what I've seen so far in these threads. Followed.

wow nice, the filthy sounding drone parts in the beginning are pure nihilism. it is good that it evolves into more of a percussive style towards the end of the track though, keeps things fresh and unpredictable. i like it! reminds me of a more abrasive version of Colossloth.
