At first I thought leaving the pixies was a dumb move but damn all the albums they made since reuniting are trash. Kim had the right idea just keeping them as a greatest hits nostalgia act.

Indie Cindy and head carrier have great songs, even if almost none of them are as good as their earlier ones. The Breeders only have Last Splash, everything is either trash or mediocre, especially All Nerve which sounds like a whining old hag over a broken guitar

They stopped and started with that album. Their next one will be great.

Last Splash was the most popular but the cooler albums to say you like are Pod and Title TK.

Years of smoking have made her voice pretty raspy but I honestly think she sounds better than Charles these days who doesn’t sound a thing like he used to it ya ax me

Belly’s first album was orignally planned to be the second Breeders album according to Tanya when she was on the Marc Maron WTF podcast. Weird I guess they orignally had an idea that they’d rotate where Kim would write and sing all the songs on the first album and Tanya write and sing the second album. Wouldn’t that have been kinda confusing?

They were better off in their own groups. Though a co-headling tour would be great.

Tanya posted the orignal demos on her Twitter a few months ago when they were still Breeders songs with Kim and Josephine on guitar and bass, not sure if Britt drummed on those or not

Bragging Party is the best Kim Deal song nobody knows. Pacer was a great follow up to Last Splsh I think it was a mistake releasing it under a different band name went under the radar with most people not in the know realizing it was the breeders
