ITT: Albums too cool for Yea Forums
This is my favourite album and I post it every chance I get.
same and godspeed
What album is it?
Leng T'che by Naked City
I have no idea why you fuckers list MLFAW as his recommeneded album. It's hard to get into and honestly not as good as his later shit. This or Mainstream Muthafucka are both more accessible and more memorable imo.
Beta band is some real boring shit
you got that backwards user
Thanks babe
That shit isn't cool
Demonstrably wrong
Cool
Cool
Not cool, but still great
Cool
Cool
Not cool
Not cool
Holy Christ this album man, so cool
this is fucking atrocious wth man
OP is a gentleman and a scholar.
May god shine your path and smite your enemies
Bless you babe
Fuckin' killing me I swear to god if that shit don't make you bounce up and down like michael j fox on meth riding a paint mixer during an earthquake then you're a fucking robot
try this one you fucking losers
I'm going to be honest with you, I haven't heard any of their records. I've been listening to the beta band the whole time without listening to this "Goreshit" person. I probably just won't even listen to them because of their terrible name honestly, I probably wouldn't like them anyways.
You're missing out. Who wouldn't want to listen to such classics as "break into my house and rape my sister"?
holy
fucking

Pretty great Ariel Pink/John Maus ripoff music.
good one op
good album
I really love their self titled release.
OP, I'm going to give you some recs that are connected to the Beta Band
You may already know that stuff, but I'll recommend anyway.
First off: Lone Pigeon - Concubine Rice. For those not in the know:
Gordon Anderson was an original member of the Beta Band
and co-writer of "Dry the Rain" and "Dog's got a Bone".
He took too much shrooms, had a mental breakdown, had to leave back to Scotland.
Subsequently has solidified his status as the Scottish Syd Barrett / Daniel Johnston.
Next: King Creosote - Kenny and Beth's Musakal Boat Rides
Kenny Anderson (Gordon's brother) founder of the now-defunct Fence Records,
was releasing TONS of tasty lo-fi-folktronica, before he started making shitty mainstream records
(like that stuff with Jon Hopkins). Here is the pinnacle of his early period
next on the line is Jonnie Common.
The guy is a fucking genius. One of his albums is an instrumental called "Kitchen Sync" and it uses only sounds sampled from kitchen appliances. Sounds corny, but it actually works!
Here's a song of his I really like

All their albums are gold, but this is mt favorite.
And So I Watch You From Afar, S/T
