I know we can round up the 15 people that listen to and enjoy this irrelevant genre and have a decent thread
Post songs you like Post albums you like Post music that you've made Post IDM-esque images Talk about IDM in general
/bleep/ is free to join us if we're technically included in the "weird underground bleepy bloopy music for skinny white people" family of electronic music genres

I love IDM & am trying to make it myself. I've been doing synthwave for a while, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I plan on doing a full EP of this kind of shit

idem isn't really a genre. it is a collection of artists producing poppified versions of genres that idem listeners are too impatient to actually get into.
HOW are autechre so fucking good lads? Every release by those slags is fucking gold. I swear they never let me down, only get better the more you listen
If you're not keeping eyes and ears open for my man Culprate and his doings, then you're doing it all wrong. he said on twitter a while back he was "...toying with the idea of doing another crowdfunding campaign in order to get a follow up to Colours & Deliverance produced". keep your eyes peeled for that I guess.
didn't even know about this till now... thanks user
100% on board with you there. they became my most listened-to artist in my library in a matter of about 2-3 months, and nothing i've come across has yet to not sound great or even grow old. i've got every studio album and EP of theirs in my library at this point, and I bought all of it! (that I could buy on Warp's online store, Confield wasn't on there for some reason) let's post some ae bangers that don't get enough love round here youtube.com/watch?v=B0u-z2IBoc8 youtube.com/watch?v=sKtrcF_Y16Y youtube.com/watch?v=4zK2voChLtc
