Why do people pretend to hate Queen?
Why do people pretend to hate Queen?
I don't pretend. I've always hated them. Freddie Mercury was a schmaltzy hack.
I don't hate them, but they are the definition of a single's band and never put together a worthwhile studio album.
>le normie post
>le contrarian normie who thinks he knows shit post
Why the FUCK does everyone always say this? They had something like 8-10 really good albums. The lesser-known songs on their albums are usually even better than the hits. I think this is just a cop-out stock response that people say without even having given their discography an in-depth listen.
corny music that has been subjected to a prolonged reddit wankfest
>prolonged reddit wankfest
Does Reddit actually do this or is it just that Freddie Mercury meme? There's plenty of Queen music worth wanking over but it's hard to talk about it on Yea Forums
if you think queen are anything more than an average pop band, then reddit might be more your speed
Reddit likes it.
Normies like it.
Your dad likes it.
Your mother likes it.
Your grandparents probably like it.
Why are they shit?
Queen are the Andre Rieu of pop music.
Normies don't know the difference between what is tacky and what is art.
>pretend
Singles band, filler discography. Just listen to a "best-of" compilation album and you're set.
My grandpa is a hate everything guy, extremely convoluted "conservative" old man (Christian grandpa bullshit), has to comment on 'niggers' and 'fags' hate at every commercial on TV kinda old man.
Loves Queen.

Hey, look, the guy who's never heard Queen II is here.
Seriously fucking kill yourself
I don't hate them, I just think they're overrated.
Because edgy teenagers will always exist.
Jazz is all great singles and a kick ass track that compiles all the songs in the end. you can't blame them cause all the songs on the album were equally popular.
he's not wrong. they could only muster what, maybe 10 memorable songs total in the span of 13 or 14 studio albums? most overrated band of all time
You wouldn't know since you just spew the second most common half-assed opinion about the band. 10 memorable songs is still more memorable than the average dadband
most dadbands have 10 memorable songs on a single album
Whatever helps you push your false narrative, bruh
You cannot possibly defend that statement.
>incredible singer, pianist and song writer
>iconic guitarist sound and playing
>complex yet groovy melodies influenced by classical music
>all the band members were great singers
Were they like the ultimate rock band of all time?
i mean do i need to start listing albums? i could name probably 20 off the top of my head where every single song is memorable
You said most, not many.
They're not bad, just overrated as fuck
that being said I love Don't Stop Me Now
