Music is inevitably going to be intertwined with music at times. Why the fuck should we ban this singer? The dehumanization of other people is not up for debate.

That's a difficult line to ride though. Many musicians (especially right now) deal with political subjects in their music. If an artist releases a politically charged song, and we want to discuss it, where do we make that distinction? I don't know if that's possible. That's why I'm against this whole "ban so an so" nonsense.
