Last time I'm going to shill mine on here for awhile so I can go make more music. I make all sorts of music, mostly fun synth based instrumentals. Take your pick.
I like yourself. It has a very nicely curated aesthetic. Will give more of them a listen in the morning.
Chase Turner
Extremely calming love the reverb on the ostinato and all the different little effects used to add flavour and how it builds up to burst into action, really good stuff jeep it up!
I can tell you're extremely visionary my only advice would be to add more nature sounds to contrast the bright synths good shit though man!
I'm not a professional and basically I don't know what I am doing. I'm just following the urge to express some emotions, so don't expect too much. :) I would love to hear some reactions, I don't show this to anyone. Thank you! (Now I'll listen all of you!) Oh, and I really don't know how to choose a genre for my stuff. What di you think?
I’d really appreciate honest feedback on this song, my friend thinks it sounds great and wants to include this take on the album, I think I sing flat too much and want to do another take.
>singer-songwriter >acoustic guitar and mandolin >baritone voice >folk inspired
This gentleman is a class act, I thoroughly recommend his music.
The guitar sounds extremely well, is that a mellotron on the back? Only thing I would say is that your voice tone needs a little bit more of control, but feel free to ignore me cause I cant sing to save my life XD
This is incredible. The riffing is excelent and I fucking love this kind of voice.
Feedback: I really like the beats and the amount of reverb you use in your song. The tone you rap in doesn't fit imo. IDK, I feel like you should be rapping in a deeper tone of voice if that it possible. I also know nothing about vocalization so take that with a grain of salt.
I really like the breakdown around 1:11. That sounded really good.
Oh man I am only on the first track and I can already tell this is going to be sick. This is definitely 100% vaporwave. This shit is sick, I'm buying your album now!
Those Tascams end up producing a kool sound, man. "He Doesn't Harm Me" reminds me of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard for some reason. Overall, really enjoyable sound.
Fantastic fucking guitar work, wow. Some guy said it sounds like Steven Wilson, I would have to agree. Mysterious and dark sound. Love it. Great chord progressions.
soundcloud.com/user-920832561/sally-cinnamon-stone-roses-cover-w-listless-glance It sounds cohesive to me, though not really my style. Only issue is the production quality, but you'll fix that when you get a computer I'm sure. And I'm not one to talk. Everything I ever record or release is done with a phone. Unironically the next Slint. Also your bassist is a qt, but you guys look like you're 16 - 20 or something. But yeah, this is how Slint first started out, very similar shows and stuff. Just keep playing :)
taking this music thing a lot more serious would appreciate any listens and shares soundcloud.com/lilkpin/death-note also hit up my producers and engineer if u need beats or mixing hmu for features recs
no this is ok. reminds me a lot of early R.E.M. interesting lyrics for copy b what are they about? followed btw boring. how do you pronounce the name of this project? turded ay? I can tell this is well done, and it is interesting at some level but its just not challenging enough, and is too pleasant to hold my interest personally. theres just too much of this lukewarm sentimental feeling in music nowadays. experiment with different feelings I suppose. you've found some cool textures. now arrange them into something more musical. elevator music. try to be about something rather than music just for music's sake. i thought this would be some of that gay dsbm stuff, but you kept it real and just made post rock stuff. +1 integrity
Gabriel Richardson
>being this critical while producing music like this
Zachary Reyes
sorry i didnt suck your ass hard enough for whichever project is yours you should just ignore the h8rs and keep doing whatever gay shit it is that you are doing kek
Adrian Gomez
>calls me elevator music >makes ambient
Isaac Russell
>wetback can't handle criticism
oh yeah this is a soundcloud circlejerk thread how could i be so naive
UWU nice chord progression papi
Thomas Rivera
can i get feedback ive only been rapping for 7 months
Sebastian Williams
I mean, what somewhat frustrates me is that you actually didn't criticize me at all. Say "this shit is bad" "ugly something" or whatever and I'll be fine with it because I actually provoked a reaction on you, but "elevator music" is an essencially empty remark.
Jayden Hall
>elevator music" is an essencially empty remark It means it’s fucking boring m8
Jace Roberts
then say it straight, because I'll have you know that I like a lot of elevator music.
Angel Jenkins
I said make your music about something. The lack of anything to communicate is what makes this so clinical and generic enough to sound like elevator music. Use la pinche mente guey.
Wyatt Rivera
LOL well if that's what you were going for the whole time then disregard the criticism
Aiden Lopez
What's your definition on "doing it about something"? Having lyrics? And stop trying to speak like a mexican, which by the way I'm not. That only goes to prove your generic redneck mindset.
Your album Communication Decay is an interesting take on vapor wave, but the feel of the album is all over the place. I only did a cursory listen of some of the songs, but the sound drastically changes from track to track, and there doesn't seem to be too much of a unifying theme. If you do an album in the future you might want to focus on a unifying theme and try to get you songs to match that theme a bit and not drift too much, as well as organize your songs such that the sonic drift from front to back makes sense.
The heights of progressive rock tend to have forward narrative compositions that communicate an unfolding story of sorts. It doesn't necessarily have to have lyrics for this to be possible. But there are tons of sterile "prog" records regarded as classics (around here especially) that also do nothing in terms of movement but use lots of chords or different voicings and time signatures to make up for a lack of substance. Hopefully this clears up what I meant.
WANT TO WITNESS THE FUTURE? Step into the future world. Where robots and cyborgs live in a techno-political neo-society where you trade cloud storage space as payment. Post-Tribal warfare breaks out between rival gangs in A.I governed Smart-Cities While Cyber-Enhanced super humans feast on human flesh..... With that introduction..... This is my new MUSIC VIDEO!!!
youtu.be/pq3nmidBf5c >Industrial >Occult >predictive programming •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Always a good listen >samples The whole "emo trap" meme genre is dead I know you THINK it's new because you 1st learned about it when that S0i-boy Peep died, but it was booming on soundcloud wayy before you. You should really try to enhance the contrast in your work. you promote yourself as heavy dynamics, but you aren't. >80s Are you recording with analog? try making your OWN music instead of recycling meme genres not melodic enough I like that you have diversity could be more extreme in it's experimental aspects Try slowing down the progression in your music. make the listener exert patience. I wish she had a bigger butt Your bass sounds WEAK ambient house is actually just a fake genre built off of MISSUSING genre names. Do some reading. Not futuristic enough SKIP Put more effort into your posts Your guitars could be wayyyy heavier. Do what I told you SKIP Careful with loops, because if the loop is too noticeable then it has rhythm and can't be called TRUE ambient >Spotify you know what I'm about to tell you.. Put more effort into your posts
>Spotify Bro, no offence bro but spotify will destroy your career, or I should say your attempt at one before it even begins. Spotify's whole gameplan is to securely steal music from artists and then when that artist disappears they rebrand the music under a new name. Basically like what the industry did with Lady GaGa but now it's Spotify doing it and no one knows. Show some personality when you post He needs to actually try to produce some music that is actually listenable You seem like you make music just so you can brag. Even tho your music isn't worth bragging about. Put some effort in to your posts It's pretty cringy right? They need to grow a pair of balls. You should try to make your music actually intense. disgraceful to true R&B Your guitars are too soft Boost your bass Your beats are a big generic and I recognize the Samples. the lofi sample sounds like it was recorded to a 15ips tape machine with a dollar store microphone signal going straight through a console, and the drums are coming from a children's keyboard drum machine, synth, or stock DAW drum samples, chances are the context won’t make sense, you should always focus on that crispy sound quality bro. In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what can I do to make these drums sound better, like they BUMP to the sample, but still stick out and hit hard?” Bro... Think about it like this, it might mean you have to be processing to the sample, or processing to the drums, or both. And generally needssome experimentation to make it BOOM in the speaker. And also mmatching the space is super key. This isn’t easy, it takes a really ADVANCED ear like mine. But if you can train yourself to listen to the ambience in the sample and recreate that ambience around the drums, but don't get confused. Next turn up the EQ low end (bass) . DONE
Thanks for the follow! A.O.D. Copy B is about the second copy William Blake made of his "Ancient Of Days" painting, it is held in Glasgow University Library which I am somewhat local to so I decided to go to see it. I got there and found it was held in their restricted vaults so viewing it for the sake of seeing it wasn't allowed, I wrote the lyrics on the way home out of vexation because I thought art should surely belong to the people.

Any of you guys have a track that needs drums or bass that I could practice drumming on? Preferably played with a click track or at a constant tempo?
Matthew Gutierrez
youtu.be/ButGDjsxEDE This one was recorded a week later but the bassist couldn't make it unfortunately.

You need to finish setting up your account >Spotify Bro, no offence bro but spotify will destroy your career, or I should say your attempt at one before it even begins. >yo >help the band find a replacement percussionist >fun things include opening for pokey lafarge and guerilla toss and a bunch of touring >or that one time we played in a stable for some reason and i was inches away from a very beautiful horse and i always thought the loud noises would make it jump. >finishing up the 8th full length release. >if interested in percussion spot, please use the contact form on the right side of the bandcamp page. >thanks a bunch and have a great 2019

Yeah I felt it was time to feed the peasants something new! You are mostly telling the truth. Good stuff as always Yo that's a fun remix! >You got an album? Here's my most recent album "MEniverse" djdubbi.bandcamp.com/album/volume-80-meniverse >Techno Boom >Progressive House >Experimental Pop Good work but...Try going more extreme! You're doing it all wrong.... Here's my advice: -1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st -2nd make a kick/snare rythem -invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help geta melody / bassline idea -3rd get some studio time, 4th, get some experienced producers to work with you during your session(s) 5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good. 6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.
