Help!
This question is retarded. People who don't understand the significance of their entire discography as a linear whole ask stupid ass questions like this.
when did every music critic on the planet start calling Revolver the best Beatles album?
it's sad really
I'm gonna be a cringe normie and say The White Album
The normie choice is sgt peppers. Maybe revolver or abbey road
Revolver my nigga
That's the last true Paul release you fucking prick have some respect
I love Abbey Road and the White Album so I guess those are the best. For me.
Also is a smug faggot
> pic related
or abbey road, or revolver
a hard days night is underrated and often overlooked
Why is it sad? You can disagree with them but there are reasons to think Revolver is their best. It's their most innovative, cutting edge album. They literally had to pretend they were another band in a conceptual album to try to top it.
>to try topping it in the following year
Fixed.
Yeah but he's also right.
this, and it's not even close
Abbey Road. Maybe not musically their "best" album, but it's my favorite to listen to. It just has such a positive, happy vibe.
God you're a pretentious cunt.
You sound like a pompous asshole, but you're right.
Man, I went through a kinda long “Abbey Road is way overrated” phase (I never hated it, as it’s still a Beatles album. I just kinda felt it wasn’t deserving all its praise compared to their other albums. Recently though, I’ve come around to viewing it as one of their best. Every single Beatle is on their A-game. They all write great songs on it. It has some of the best guitar licks, outstanding bass, and some great drumming from Ringo (including the only drum solo he ever played). It really is incredible that it was even made when you consider all the shit they had just gone through with the miserable Get Back/Let It Be debacle.
Abbey Road is definitely one of their best
Abbey Road for the cohesiveness and ending medley, Magical Mystery Tour for that glorious second half.
Based opinion. Magical Mystery Tour has the best individual songs but Abbey Road is practically miraculous in how well it all flows together.
Acceptable answers
>Rubber Soul
>With the Beatles
>MMT
>Abbey Road
>White
>Sgt. Pepper
>Barely acceptable
>Revolver
Unacceptable answers
>Help!
>Beatles For Sale
>Please Please Me
Good post
The only real answer. Fake ass Beatle fans in here.
>Every single Beatle is on their A-game
except lennon
He wrote Come Together and I Want You, two of the best songs on the album. What are you on?
With the Beatles. I also unironically love Beatles for Sale.
MMT
sgt pepper is overrated by normies and underrated by rym plebs and criticdrones. They seem to think it's passe and gaudy, but this is a relatively new trend and it will all cycle around and be overloved again eventually. realistically It's actually pretty good, probably their most important album.
very based Beatles for Sale fan. We are far and few between, though I can't make any good argument that it's close to their best.
If only there was an album that perfectly encapsulated everything good about their career all at once.
Oh wait.
Bold Arrow Of Time > I Want You (She’s So Heavy)
youtube.com
Yea I wouldnt say Beatles for Sale is anywhere near the top, but it was some of the first stuff of theirs and music in general I had heard. It holds a special place.
It's all so tiresome.
Despite being made 50 years after I Want You with all evolution in rock and metal this shit still sounds uninspiring and boring
the white album
Rubber sole
He is kinda right. This was one of the few Beatles album where John is not the stand out.
>Come Together
I don't hate it for being overplayed, it's just not that great, Paul is the prota on this one
>I Want You
Actually great one, the ending is a hell miracle
>Because
Not sure if he wrote this one, but it's kind of a rip off
>Medley
Sun King is one of my fav John songs, PP and MMM feel so incomplete but at least they somehow flow well
I love Rubber Soul
Can you guys stop it with the constant Beatles threads, we know they already suck no need to torture us any longer.
P.S. the Beatles really do sound mediocre on stereo mixes
I agree. I thought pepper was garbage and then I listened to it on mono and realized it was actually their 3rd best album
based answer
I know Abbey Road is a cliché pick, but I really like it the most.
Haven't heard their pre-Rubber Soul stuff though. I'll check it out some day
Help! was my favourite at 12 and still is today
thats why you listen to the mono masters you fucking PLEB
Normies who have heard two songs from whole double album
A better question would be what is their worst song ? They do have some boring b-sides at the start of their career. Imo.
The Medley is the apex of their abilities, it says a lot about John’s character at the time that he didn’t like the idea of a medley. When the you never give me your money motif comes back in carry that weight I get goosebumps
I hate Doctor Robert, in fact a lot of George’s Beatles songs piss me off
not on this website. here sgt pepper gets trashed by every contrarian and their mother. revolver, MMT, White Album and Abbey Road all do better then the album that conventional critics hold as the greatest of all time
Abbey Road
Revolution 9 is enough to drop it to fourth or fifth.
They are literally the two worst songs on the album.
Rubber soul was the best. Everything after that was too “woooAAHHHh triPpy dUUuudde” experimental stuff that doesn’t hold up as well.
Stop listening to Beatles.
Revolution 9, is that even a question?
If we're counting actual songs then probably sweet honey pie, although I do also hate I want you.
Why? I like just about all of their other songs.
>I do also hate I want you
What's wrong with you?
basd
I always hated that one too
I understand not liking Honey Pie, (Pixies did a good cover btw) but I Want You is a great song.
*Cofff*
probably help
>maxwell nigger hammer
a hard days night
Its tied between and theres no question about it
Revlover, The White Album and Abbey Road. Sgt Pepper is a meme album.
Out of our heads
the last you heard
