Well there's always a chance there'll be SOME kind of redemption. Some albums you have to, like, LISTEN to in order to start enjoying them.
I know you'll say something about placebo and shit, but it's less about telling yourself you have to enjoy it and more about being able to appreciate the music in its entirety or whatever i should stop posting

If you're obviously not enjoying what you're hearing why would you keep going? There's a difference between letting an album grow on you and outright hating what you're listening to.

I am old enough to have bought this as a physical double album at Blockbuster. Back when, yes, Blockbuster actually sold music. Yes, I am old.

And as far as MC&TIS goes, it gets off to a great start, 1st CD is better than the 2nd, but there are enough good songs on there to outweigh the bad.

im not gunna pretend they're some sort of lyrical masterpiece because they're not but I feel like a lot of people misunderstand what the lyrics are trying to convey in mumble rap. It's not about some sort of deep or clever realization but rather an emotional state. In the case of this album, the state where you just don't give a fuck - where you're having a good time and maybe feeling a bit aggressive. And I think the lyrics in this album do a great job at conveying that feeling.

I guess my first post was kinda harsh considering I simply thought the album was just lengthy which is to be expected from a double LP

but my second post I still stand by. I feel like you're totally overanalyzing that steaming pile of shit of an album.Though I know what he didn't give a fuck about for sure and that's writing proper lyrics

also I kind of get why people listen to that type of music and I don't want to sound like a total asshole by saying all those things but I'm still legitimately mad at that record for being THAT unenjoyable for me specifically
