I write music sometimes for my autistic childhood story. I imagined for years a huge war between two races on a huge planet with massive tree-cities and mountain-range-sized fortresses. When I was little I would be dragged with my mother shopping at the mall and I imagined it as a huge enemy factory/fortress the good guys were attacking. Over the years it became deeply meaningful to me and I continued it until I was 23 when after killing off the main character I resurrected him because I didn't like his children and it ruined the whole thing. Anyway I write music about it, like this piece for the main character's wife dying years after he did in a mission to destroy an enemy superweapon.
>blend of ambient, psycho pop, plunderphonics & sheer lunacy
Where the BC logo?
Finally made a BandCamp account. Next step for artistic progression. Oh yeah, the tracklist is autistic. This was already uploaded on my SC. Figured it works best on BC.
Fourth and final single for my upcoming project Spiderman: Redux. The album is based album on the original Spiderman video-game for PS1 Any feedback is greatly appreciated (:
LOVE this. easily one of the best ambient track i've come across through these threads. this is the type of ambient that i aspire to make . . . beautiful stuff, love the melodies you got going here. the guitar is perhaps my fav part but everything works together extremely well.
your guitar work in 'halloween in hibi' is very strong. appealing dissonance. at 0:40 in nights of sehair there is a fantastic riff that i would've like to have heard developed into something more. where you choose to go after that it still good, but the riff is quite arresting and delivers quite a punch. it felt like there was still more to be juiced out of it. however, overall it is a strong song and to my taste. the piano and guitar go together very well. it didn't feel like it was lacking a vocals, which is hard for some people to achieve in an instrumental.
Loving this new track a lot my man. Not my favorite of the singles so far, but theres still a really cool blend of genres on this one. Video's tight as well. Excited for this new album my man.
Nice and dreamy. The production is what stands out to me, really love the horns and the keys.
Really unique concept here. Slip On The Caspian is a gorgeous track. The synths on this are gorgeous. Good on ya for doing lo-fi well instead of making it an excuse for shitty recording
This sounds extremely tight and is fantastically produced, but the drum pattern at the intro makes me cringe. Going to the riffs, they kinda are a little bit too generic, and the voice has something curious going on: every time you start a phrase, it's noticeable how you have to push yourself to do do the growl. But anyway, all the elements for a good banger are here.
you've got a real nice voice and the mixing is great here this shits wavy you do a good job at standing out while still having a distinctly "dream pop" sound love the synths/ samples here
I wasn't gonna say this while I was posting my own music, cus I try to keep feedback positive, but dude ... you kinda suck your lolsorandum shtick doesn't work when none of the songs are good or funny, and you're a fucking dj dubbi sympathizer. you actively cheer on the dude that ruins these threads AND you fucking suck. your image is incredibly sloppy too
Chase Ortiz
Why you gotta do our boi Chucky like that bro? What did he do to you?
Sir please do not insult our lord and savior chuck
Nolan King
so, is this chuck or dubbi? y'all both make trash music sorry. inbred too. alot of lackluster artists in these threads have potential but you three should find a career outside of music desu
Thomas Thomas
I’m sorry dubbi got to you bro, don’t take it personally
Joseph Phillips
Nah. Just another user standing up for my boi. Don't you ever have fun?
Adam Gutierrez
yes I do have fun, "fun" isn't an excuse for shit music. go to bed chuck
>soundcloud.com/jalx28293828228 one of the few ambient tracks that i actually enjoyed. idk why the nostalgia of that sound
>soundcloud.com/20_20_vision/brazy decent as fuck instrumental! you should definitely see if you can get a rapper on this is immediately i could see it going far.
There's a storm coming..... are you ready? Or have you been mindlessly staring into your phone.. aka the black mirror of hypnosis. Are you ready for the storm?
WANT TO WITNESS THE FUTURE? Step into the future world. Where robots and cyborgs live in a techno-political neo-society where you trade cloud storage space as payment.
With that introduction..... this is my Death Grips - Beware remix!
youtu.be/F9AOfFcyPsU >Techno Boom >Breakbeat Trance >Progressive House •——•——•——•——•——•——•——• >thinking anyone from these threads will have a career in music LOL Glad to hear it. I'm here now since you guys called me in! This needs to be more wub-dubby, and it needs to drop wayyyyyy harder, but not bad overall. >ambient >prog pick one LOL Wasn't me, I'm just showing up now. >butrhurt "bedroom music" Stop calling what you do "Emo" it only hurts your credibility. it doesn't help. >reccing the whole thread. Ok I'll start RECCin you since you've been around. but post more with more personality. You can do it. REC >Makes folk >criticizes other people's drumming LOL Good stuff, could go more extreme in the grimeyness tho. This needs a lot of work. Try learning about J Dilla, it'll help you diversify your sound a lot. Interesting idea RECCy A stupid one >heavy No, it's really not, you're ao affraid of my advice and I don't know why, it'd help you so much. >sad Man up already!
>fun loving and free wheeling dubbi than some earnestly butthurt crybaby Dubbi isn't fun loving, he's an edgy asshole who just tries to be rude as fuck.
Connor Flores
Your music needs to be faster. Try going up by about 20bpm A little boring, try enhancing your melodies by adding more transitional notes. REC >Spotify Bro, no offence bro but spotify will destroy your career, or I should say your attempt at one before it even begins. Spotify's whole gameplan is to securely steal music from artists and then when that artist disappears they rebrand the music under a new name. Basically like what the industry did with Lady GaGa but now it's Spotify doing it and no one knows. This isn't melodic enough to be reppin' that. You need to spend more time practicing your melodies before you sit down to start recording. Lofi you 100% know what I'm about to say. You should add me as a character to it. >plunderfart I wish you'd show more personality...... >porn Reminds me of my old FAQQI project Your beats are a disgrace to real hip hop, You gen z zoomie-boys don't understand what hip hop was about back in the day. Call me an old-head but this is newskool garbagio. Yup, I said it, garbagio....... Ok since you're a beginner I'll give you my easy advice for any beginner, especially since you really need it. So: -1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st -2nd make a kick/snare rythem -invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help geta melody / bassline idea -3rd get some studio time, 4th, get some experienced producers to work with you during your session(s) 5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good. 6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.
hey, chuck here. thanks for the love dude! appreciate it :) would u mind privately messaging me on soundcloud in the future like a real man instead of taking a shot at me here? thanks dude ps hope everything is good with u man. dont forget love is the answer :)
Definitely. Ok so seriously.... you need to Finish setting up your soundcloud account Your beats are a big generic and I recognize the Samples. the Horn sample sounds like it was recorded to a 15ips tape machine with a live recording going straight through a console, and the drums are coming from a drum machine, synth, or stock DAW drum samples, chances are the context won’t make sense, you should always focus on that crispy sound quality bro. In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what can I do to make these drums sound better, like they BUMP to the sample, but still stick out and hit hard?” Bro... Think about it like this, it might mean you have to be processing to the sample, or processing to the drums, or both. And generally needssome experimentation to make it BOOM in the speaker. And also mmatching the space is super key. This isn’t easy, it takes a really ADVANCED ear like mine. But if you can train yourself to listen to the ambience in the sample and recreate that ambience around the drums, but don't get confused. You follow? Next turn up the EQ low end (bass) and ta-da you're better. REC REC, I love analog Boring You better be recording analong if you're preaching about being vintage.... This needs more Flangers and Phasers. Bots >making depressing music Man up you emasculated S0i-Boy You need to use distortion on your guitars. I don't know why you're afraid of my advice, it's pretty cringy, you do know this is a feedback thread right??Ok so this needs a lot of work. 1st of all You should be working on your singing, Or at least buy a manageable Auto-tune like "Antares Auto-Tune Pro Pitch Pro" it only costs about $500 and is worth the money. It's actually a steal in terms of what you can do with it even tho it's a pretty cheap tool. I can keep giving you advice if you ask...

why is it only ever one user who actually listens to everyone's music? i thought these were supposed to be some type of community threads where we help each other.
Connor Kelly
yeah the guitar sounds brittle on demos. the sock thing was what I was asking for. good tip, I have an sm57 and a pair of socks that fit that description -and incidentally don't fit my feet- so I'll try that. great song.
James Howard
heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy: Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive" all the way up. Turn other volume knobs down to get the loudness you want. Once you've proved you can get heavy distortion, dial things back to find the tone you want. Focus on being LOUD!! Some amps won't distort at low volumes, mainly because that's dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like this, either just play loud or give up.
Asher Jackson
No lies here friend. Are you the one bitching about people being rude? I’d be more than happy to give your music a listen, I promise I’ll be honest!
Nicholas Rogers
thanks ill turn up the gain knob all the way next time on my acoustic and vocals.
Jaxon Lee
Hey guys, I released a new album. Microtonal dronedoom improvisational, hope you like
You're STUPID!! Do you even know what year it is? Men shouldn't be playing accoustic guitars anymore. That instrument is super effeminate compared to modern electric guitar. >pic related is you
No you won't be honest, you'll be a rude ass whipe, I already know you're dubbi.
Xavier Edwards

Demos from upcoming album: soundcloud.com/bonbos/sets/upcoming-second-album-demos First album: soundcloud.com/bonbos/sets/cardboard-girls >dream pop >psychedelic pop/psychedelic rock >synthpop >lofi (above two releases only, hifi setup most likely complete by the end of summer) This is a strong follow-up single. I think adding vocals might ruin it unless you come up with something catchy enough to complement it.
These are my recent two singles, I'm working towards an EP over the next few months ^_^ one of the tracks has been completed today, now just a matter of rehearsing and recording another few >Post-punk inspired >Folky flavourings >Rather Jangly
You really are dense huh.. If you took my advice your music would be listenable. I'm glad you've stopped making excuses. Alright, so this is mediocre and the mix is a mess. The EQing is all wrong. And the bass.....You need to Learn how to boost your bass. I can help you out quite a bit if you ask, but for now what you need to focus on is Making great bass patches. to make a beginner bass, get a defult patch in Harmor, turn the low-pass on A to 10% and 0% on B, and then turn the Sub up on both A and B, next turn on some slight distortion and then EQ the sub in the mixer up all the way.

>I'm glad you've stopped making excuses I haven't made a single excuse this whole time though. I found out my fucking paycheck is being held back for a third week and I'm only being paid for two until it catches up by the end of August. rbt.asia/mu/thread/88842893/#q88844902
Cameron Martinez
You were making budget excuses and > I found out my fucking paycheck is >being held back for a third week and >I'm only being paid for two until it >catches up by the end of August. What're you going to do about it? Oh let me guess, nothing? You'll just sit around twiddling your thumbs like a betamale instead of solving the problem . Man up.
Landon Clark
Thanks love, I’m gonna sit on it awhile then try and add vocals. Don’t let dubbi get to you, he’s just trying to get a rise out of someone. I like the lofi feel to your tunes, looking forward to the album. -chokers
Austin Long
very subtle possible low/mid-air-thief/xiuxiu influence? except it's mixed way better than low. >I wanted to convey the feelings I had when I imagined a wedding that gets caught in a tornado is that from edith finch? :) i like the songwriting but the effects are too much and push it out of the interesting chaos zone into overwhelming. my biggest problem is when it sounds like ring modulation or out of tune. i would like almighty's chord progression if at least one guitar was in tune. maybe i need to warm up to it but way too many unrelated pitches that complicate things. "shoot you in the head with something that is true" is cool. latter half of and thats the way is where your approach works well i think because the structure is there and craziness happens around it. light and light is great if not for the vocals being very quiet. and its missing a "tadaaaa!" in the end. all your cover art is perfect.
how are u gonna talk shit on lo fi and bedroom music then "recc" young fucking chuck, who is not only making lo-fi bedroom music but also doing it BADLY? oh yeah cus he's the only one in these threads that openly supports you lmao
Jose Williams
lmao I remember when I used to think "turn the gain all the way up" or "raise the bass so high it will blow out most car speakers" was a substitute for mixing
another thread ruined. actively filtering these threads until dubbi dies or gets bored - nothing worthwhile here anyways.
Colton Murphy
this is good, you have a nice voice, reminds me of belle and sebastian when you hit the high notes, soothing
Adam Thomas
>possible low/mid-air-thief/xiuxiu influence? I don't like any of them that much, but I do like Angel Guts a lot. >is that from edith finch? I've never heard of this game until now. Also I can also guarantee the acoustic was in tune when I recorded Almighty, I think I got too attached to the electric track since it was recorded on an older amp I borrowed from my parents and had a sound I couldn't replicate on a newer amp. Thank you for your feedback.
Dominic Richardson
Thanks lad. I've never heard of Belle and Sebastian, are they good?
Thomas Fisher
>ruined >dubbi pick one
Austin Perez
Thanks user
James Robinson
>You should add me as a character to it. Sure user. What are you like and whats your name?
Jack Morris
Just having fun with some virtual synths, pls no bully
i don't use bots fuck you and your death grips remixes
Owen Rivera
>fat >playing a ukulele Lmaooo. How does dubbi come up with this shit.
Matthew Cook
> until dubbi dies or gets bored You're going to be waiting a long time, he's been doing this sporadically since 2012. I'm pretty sure that's what the end of the world in 2012 was actually prophecizing lol.
Trk 4 of a big project I finished need feedback >pop/samples >triphop/singer songwriter idk
Nice instrumentals really good production but you're off pitch in basically every song bro, maybe invest money into some private vocal classes or something because it just needs some kinks to be worked out ya know
The drums in the second half sound great but the drumsynths at the beginning are unpleasant. Everything else is cool though sounds like a soundtrack to a Portal game
>bedroom pop >folk/hiphop/jazz influences >mostly spanish but some tracks are on english
will return feedback on sc.
Glitchy, High Energy, but smooth at the same time. Pretty decent shit. yeah, pass. those vocals are horrible. gotta work on the vocal tuning. the music and effects are pretty good. it gets kinda boring. it would be great if it involved more sounds or some variations. pretty trippy.
>nothing worthwhile here anyways Man, you have a worse attitude than Dubbi, at least he's trying to help (albeit with horrible advice) but it's better than what you're doing.
