I used to love them in my folk punk phase lol. Can't maintain is their best album, but every album pre-Christmas Island is top tier folk punk. After that they started doing some weird indie folk rock. The lyricism is worked (cringe sometimes) and the songs are simple enough to have a good time.

Really? I am a bit of a Yea Forums newfag. Only started browsing a few months ago but I stuck around when I realized this board has pretty good taste desu. I've never seen this band being discussed in those months, however.

This board has terrible taste and is full of retards. If you want to get more into music though just listen through charts on the Yea Forums wiki, really great jumping off point.

Do not use mu for discussing music. Popping in here time to time to see current flavor of the month is worth it but the same could be said for p4k or melon reviews. Scaruffi is a mess too,though his catalog is wild. Using the wiki for the charts is a great idea but do NOT view them as a checklist. Those charts are top soil and its up to you how far you go digging from there. Go local and meet people. Find your taste organically. Sacrifice your clout points and just be as inquisitive as possible. Spotify/youtube/last fm algos are a cyclical trap but can br useful. Mu is terrible for music unless you just want to shitpost. Do not waste your time here.
