nothing. NMH is shit

One that I legitimately notice new things in every time I listen. Like an old friend but one who always has a new thing to tell me every time I see them.

This, along with most Yea Forumscore bands.

I often saw Aeroplane described as "adding nothing new" to the indie genre. Instead, what it does, it elevates everything the indie genre is already known for to new levels. This isn't a notion I necessarily agree with. It is very eastern european inspired, and I can't think of a 90s rock band before them that I can say the same thing about. Also, it is a lot of fun to sing along to.

I've listened to it like four times and while it makes me laugh, I don't care for it. I get the appeal. It is basically anti-music. You should just listen to it out of simple curiosity.

Ye and Pablo are the worst kanye albums.

nothing. absolutely nothing. it's like every indie album you've heard
all this does is make you appreciate real free jazz so much more

Sappy and "folky" indie rock with faux poetic emo lyrics about dead Jewish girls. If you're under 21, like open chords on acoustic guitars, and don't mind a lack of harmonic development you'll dig it.

It's a great album, give it a listen.
It's not for everyone and might take a few listens but it deserves the praise it gets.

I love how abrasive and raw some of the songs are on this album

its really sweet and short. give it a try!
this is not my fav but maybe i just dont understand it
its really good! give it a listen
its really good! give it a listen
not great. dont recommend to listen to this one
super good. give it a listen

i genuinely hope everyone who enjoys the velvet underground is rounded up and killed

Based aside from that Kid A diss. Don't fuckin hate on my boy Kid A.

Soul and emotion in seemingly basic level music that you can't really find anywhere else. Also great general atmosphere and storytelling.
Nothing other than pretentious bullshit. Experimental for the sake of being experimental.
One of the better dives inside Kanye's fascinating mind.
The greatest album of all time.

Absolutely based everything

A lot of the songs are very sunny, but the lyrics and performance find gloom in it. Rides the line between maturity and adolescence with real emotional nakedness. It's short, but the pacing and variety of songwriting choices means it still feels highly substantial.

You'll find a collection of synthesizer-led, unpretentious pop songs that still hasn't been replicated in sound or tone, even by the band themselves (not that they are the type to 'go back to the well').

I don't know what to say, it's Pink Floyd; if you've heard The Wall think that, but with better, beefier stand-alone tracks. They've got a knack for catchy songs with conceptual sophistication and gimmickry that rewards paying attention, but doesn't require it to be enjoyed superficially. Worth listening to on good speakers, headphones, or in your car on a long night drive.

It's fucking amazing. It feels like it doesn't get old to me, it's pretty raw (not made in a bedroom but still) and once it clicks you get every song stuck in your head. If I had to pick a bunch of albums to listen for the rest of my life this would be one of them.

Has many great songs. Definitely worth listening fully. Nice dark-ish sad-ish vibe. Has some of the best Radiohead songs (How To Disappear Completely, Idioteque)

Pop-ish but really interesting and unique sound, I don't know anything quite like it. Same as with ITAOTS, once it clicks it's amazing and really catchy.

This is just a good indie folk rock album, singer sounds a bit odd at first however
Very comedic and if you listen close enough its almost music
One of kanyes weakest but still a 7/10 a good look at his mind during the year it was made but not every song hits well
Very good classic rock album
Layers of beautiful samples, vocals, and guitar sounds, should be listened to loudly with headphones for a euphoric experience
Alt rock meets aphex twin and it kinda works sometimes, first 4 songs and idioteque are the best on here.
One of the best synth/psychedelic pop albums ever made, when it came out everyone thought it was the next step for pop music but then rap took over the mainstream instead lol.

Great album. Classic rock tunes, themes of sado-masochism and general warholian degeneracy. some more avante garde sounds mixed in too

>One of the better dives inside Kanye's fascinating mind.
>he thinks Kanye is interesting in any way

Since I Left You

Two fantastic noise-pop songs you should listen to immediately (‘Dsco’ and ‘Chocolate Matter’) and a bunch of long, intricate and hypnotic electronic-shoegaze fusion tracks which aren’t as accessible but reward repeated listening. Great album.

summertime clothes almost brings tears to my eyes

consider suicide

no u

>pic related my record

man scream-sings about anne frank for nearly an hour
several cult-like demo tracks, acapella poetry, people who sound kind of tired
nothing lmao
it is one of perhaps the nuttiest albums of all time, if not this then it's wl/wh
*vacuum noise*
the sound of sleeping pills
not their best
i also havent heard this one and it doesnt appeal to me
nearly tear jerking neo psychedelia
experimental pop stuff, i recommend a listen to it. do yourself a favor
never heard this either
it really isnt that good and most people are wrong about it, just listen to to be kind instead
havent heard, have heard of
plunderphonic bliss in pure intricacy

why is this frank zappa record so beloved?

great album and everyone who says otherwise is just being a contrarian

My favorite hip-hop record of all time hands down; creates an absolutely surreal environment, beautiful instrumentation bordering on ambient at points, talented performers, produced excellently, great samples, clever wordplay at points (and dadaist, schizophrenic streams of consciousness at others). However, I'm neither musically proficient or a huge hip-hop fan, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. All I know is that I find it to be a very enjoyable listen and find new aspects of the music each time through.

why would you reply to a post just to tell us you haven't listened to the record?

a consistent, head-nodding rhythm with menalcholic synths and samples surrounding it.

>Ye and Pablo are the worst Kanye albums

Ding dong your opinion is wrong

it's like listening to a dream while swimming

but instead of swimming in water it's shit

Thom Yorke became obsessed with Aphex Twin and after they made OK Computer he made Kid A. Thom's repetitive vocals and unique synth melodies give you a unique listening experience.

The sounds of Jeff Mangum masturbating to Anne Frank

Attached: ladies.jpg (1000x1000, 78K)

cosmic sorrow only found when one is deafened by the silence of the universe

some of it sounds like experimental hip hop and rap rock, almost like progressive rap

Sell me on it. I've heard the 14 other Yea Forums-core albums, but not this one.

Attached: d8848c55.jpg (320x320, 62K)

there's nothing to miss here

overrated. you can skip all of the lights and hell of a life
melancholic, rain-core, pitched down rnb vocals with very unique and catchy drum loops, existential
summer-core, poppy and catchy but not the generic type, surreal instrumentals, lsd-core, most accessible anco album
kinda sad but also uplifting, jazzy instrumentation that's nice on the ears, catchy
