I don't know if this is the best NIN album but damn, it's good. I kept hearing that it's just With Teeth 2 but nah

Nah it stands on its own very well, the music and energy is fantastic
But none of their albums sound alike
Bad Witch is better
Hesitation Marks better fits the With Teeth 2 title. I love all of NIN’s albums, but Year Zero is special.
I really like Bad Witch better too, but that is not to disparage this album at all. Year Zero is way different
It wasn't just anti George W, it was against the direction the country was and is going. That's why it's fresh two administrations later. Obama ramped up the paranoia and Trump brought in the vulgarian American diplomacy

But With_Teeth is one of the most rock focused releases, Hesitation Marks is the least.
