low key hating on Invisible Touch or genuinely asking ?
also I think I've taken acid and not been aware. the angry words of Yea Forums are coming off the page. curling like little bookends
that's worrying. have a good trip tho user, listen to some dope music
>Why were they the only prog band to stay consistently good and creative in the new wave era?
I think Adrian Belew had a lot to do with this.
lol what do you think is my motive behind this post tell me soon thnx
you seem like a mischevious imp. if you come into the room I will attack you with some tools from the cupboard
bill looks like he has a bad gas
adrian took a lot of inspiration from talking heads
on the three-album run from discipline to perfect pair, over half the time he sounds exactly like david although it clearly paid off
also had the best lineup in the 80's
Camel, Pekka Pohjola, Magma and Univers Zero are 70s prog bands that also had excellent 80s output.
>prog
>good
Ok big boy what do you consider good?
Zappa and Rush were solid in the 80's, no lie
signals - grace under pressure - power windows
truly the greatest album run of the 80s
This. Belew is really great and funny on stage. One of my favorite vocalists ever.
just picked up three of a perfect pair on cd is it any good?
About as good as Beat.
>This. Belew is really great and funny on stage. One of my favorite vocalists ever.
He has great stage presence
Because everyone turned on prog after punk started and the prog bands didn’t know how to stay relevant. King Crimson embraced New Wave in their own way
Yeah, it’s a really underrated one. Just don’t expect it to sound like their earlier stuff.
I actually listen to their 80s albums even more than their 70s albums. Definitely because of Belew.
It's wild to think that there used to be a time when a band like King Crimson could get a spot on late night television.
Awful opinion.
The fuck? Merci is a legendarily bad album.
awful opinion
solid opinion. Grace under pressure is one of their best
You're really going to defend Red Lenses and The Body Electric?
Listen to Absent Lovers if you haven't already. Belew has great banter with the audience.
>red lenses
I actually agree with u there. That is the worst track on that album. I like Body electric and everything else though. Between the wheels and kid gloves are the best tracks on that album imo
The Between the Wheels guitar solo is kino
nah its great. one of the only times magma strayed from their formula after obtaining the zheul sound
That’s wrong and you’re retarded but hey, you keep embarrassing yourself in public, ok?
idk. its certainly weird and cheesy but idk how one couldnt like disco zheul. after a few albums in the rock style youve heard them all.
>after a few albums in the rock style youve heard them all.
Because they have like a grand total of 5 or 6 rock albums you dumbass. No fucking shit you’ve heard them all, there weren’t many to begin with.
I wish i was a mischievous imp. The imps are friendly user
