The best BOC album, by far

>not trying to be too experimental with weird samples
>not trying to be too dark/spooky
>nice and comfy

geogaddi is their worst

Geogaddi is up there with MHTRTC. Tomorrow's Harvest is their worst

agreed its the most forgettable imo, campfire even sounds more interesting than it

release the early albums, boys. wide distributions with digital downloads. we've waited long enough

God I wish. They were talking about releasing that stuff 11 years ago. How much fucking time do they need?

finally someone else who agrees

Tomorrows harvest still pretty good all in all tho, but i think you gotta be in the right setting for that album to really work fully. I just want new material man

Been listening to Old Tunes 1 + 2 lately, like them a lot. Not so hot on R35TT.
I have a soft-spot for TH. It came out during the high-point of my life so far, everything since then has gone badly wrong, but it still means a lot to me. Wish it had more Jacquard Causeways and Palace Posys and less brooding dark synth drones though.

Twoism found the "IIIII'm Listening" sample from Aquarius. From a record made by people in some 70s cult.

About 50 seconds in.

I agree however I was listening to this album a lot when my dad died. so I refrain from listening to it now

It's a really nice chill album. Geogaddi is still at the top for me though, it's one of those one of a kind albums that evokes feelings completely unique from pretty much anything else I've experienced.

What's the timestamp onAquarius? I can't find it but the sample sounds familiar.

Geogaddi is their best for me, dawn chorus still just hits the fucking spot

I dunno if it's the best but I do find it to have the most longevity/replayability. I'm far more likely to throw Campfire on when I want BoC on in the background, while I'd rather listen to Music or Geogaddi for more intensive, headspace wandering style listening. They're better when I'm in the mood for them but I'll throw Campfire on just for shiggles.

They added it into later versions of the track, so check out the version on the Peel session or the other live versions. It was also played on the Aquarius mashup on that recent mix they did for NTS.

Yes, now I hear it on the peel session version, thanks.

Stop playing boards of canada you are scaring hoes
