Holy shit
Holy shit
is it just me or most nin stuff is quite meh? There are a few iconic great tracks but overall most songs are kinda bland and forgettable
yeah
The first 3 albums + Broken are the essentials, all the rest is on a lower level, to be honest. Year Zero initially impressed me, but then I just couldn't keep listening to it for some reason, it's like the ideas are interesting but not fully realized. The Slip has some great songs but doesn't quite work as a full album.
You're probably not listening closely enough, what you're saying does easily apply to Slip, Teeth, Hesitation Marks, though
Year Zero is the only album between Post Fragile to Marks that can hold up to the essentials, I consider that album essential. It's as creative and complete as Spiral
EP Trilogy is some of his work in years
"Best"
the instrumental version is better
>EP Trilogy is some of his work in years
wew no
add violence is easily one of the worst EPs in the entire catalogue
Are you that guy who thought it's too boring?
i'm a guy who thinks less than is the worst song he's ever produced
the lovers is ok
Did you ever hear
>Down In It
>That's What I Get
>Starfuckers
>Deep
>The Hand That Feeds
>The Collector
>Every Day Is Exactly The same
>Getting Smaller
>Not So Pretty Now
>Capital G
>Discipline
>Everything
>I Would For You
>Running
All far worse
this album is serious cringe if you listen to it after downward spiral.
actually all of trents albums are if you listen to them after downward spiral.
downward spiral was the only good nin work
yes
and no
>downward spiral was the only good nin work
I buy that argument (and scaruffi-drones overrate Spiral too), though his other early albums also had a couple good tracks on them.
Tourists, Fragile is better than TDS in every way.
it's just you and your tin ear
the slip blows year zero out of the water
Based, Slip is up there with the best
Hey fuck you buddy, Capital G is great
Every Year Zero song is
Add Violence is good and underrated
>iconic great
yikes pleb
It's fantastic, better than NTAE
quadssss
The Slip has some of the best pacing of any NIN album, even though it’s far from actually being the best album.
1,000,000 to Letting You is perfection
