The reason you hate country is because you're associating it with one particular sound, namely, 21st century overproduced country pop and hick-pop shit. That's like saying you hate rock music just because of nu-metal. Try Townes Van Sandt, Lee Hazlewood, Fred Neil, Charlie Rich, etc. there's millions of good country artists from the 19th century to the 80's and dismissing a whole genre based on one particular sound and because it's fashionable to say is retarded
