Toppling the 1920's European coal market by monopolizing it and then inflating the prices to prevent WWII, judging by that coat and the determined gaze.

Listened to it once, it was an entertaining listen, but there's zero reason to come back to it. They may have understood how to be interesting sonically and complex, but the songwriting is not there yet. Compare to a band like Iceage or Girl Band that write simpler songs overall, but understand how to write a compelling song.

But shit man, they're only like 18 so I expect the next albums to be sick.

funny how I would make the same argument about Girl Band's LP and exactly the reason it didn't blow up the way YWGWYW did

Yeah, I suppose Girl Band are hit or miss on the album, I think they lost themselves a bit in the whole experimental/noise cop out (much like Spectres did after their first LP... And METZ kinda did with their most recent album). But the France/Early Years EPs are terrific in my opinion and still hold up really well.
