Heard some of the "Us at Night". Though I preferred "Now U Care" due to the sheer power and over the top layering of samples I find your newest to be much more consistent and better paced. The production is still very good. Not a fan of the genre overall so I don't think I'm a good judge of the quality but I've enjoyed my time with it nonetheless.
"fuck me up" has something weird in it - like if you were singing to a different song with a different tempo and applying it to this track - feels awkward at best. I think a better separation of the tracks might help the overall song as well - they are just way too close so the cacophony, even if intended, feels a bit unnatural towards the overall work. Outside of that I don't see any other major gripes with this work - I just personally would enjoy something less cluttered. Also - Instagram bae.
The vocals may be angry angst superstar but the track backing it is just way too quiet and delivers almost zero punch.
The band was born out of the idea that noise and music should not only complement each other but to also use noise as another instrument in itself. The band takes inspiration from conventional heavy music, harsh noise and industrial sounds, as well as free-improvisation; disparate influences range from black metal, Japanese hardcore and grindcore acts like ENDON, SWARRRM, Stubborn Father to jazz avant-garde greats Marc Ribot, Patty Waters, Diamanda Galas, but also with tempo-shifts to a Codeine-esque melancholic atmosphere. The demo was conceived as a cathartic raw expression of escaping from trauma and its escorts of various malaise.
do you think i should turn up the drums? or do you think the backing is just unfitting?
i listened to the first demos. it’s pretty chill, i like the humans voices the most and the real sound of the wind. it might be cool to hear plantlife rustling in the wind or something
Yo I fw the way it is, aggressive sound compliments the beats
Light me up is great I love the guitar then that 808 came through

Thanks for listening, glad you've enjoyed it! I'm no fan or rap so take my assessments and observations with a grain of salt. The intro part is pretty inconsistent with the rest volume-wise. So as the listener comes to the track he/she tunes him/herself towards some volume. And when the more rhythmic part hits there is a need for adjustment in volume department. Turning up the drums might help but I would personally turn the middle part of the track at least on the similar level as the later part of it. Plus, I feel that the hard hitness could be better achieved in combining and mixing vocals and track together. As of now the vocals are way too much on front to the position that when you go and shout "Fuck" at the later portions of the track you can hear a tad bit of empty room in the mic which isn't consistent with the music. Finally, I don't know how dynamic your track is on there but I don't think it fills all the spectrum very well - the bass and such. Maybe turning it up might get some more kick out of it? The track itself ain't bad, just needs more fine tuning in order to make it more exciting.
Thanks, glad you've enjoyed it!
This feels like a very awkward cover to be honest - I don't feel like it's a solid reinterpretation of NIN original. Your voice can't sustain and stay on one tone very well too - it shifts and wobbles very badly, the track is kind of hollow (maybe due to YT processing?) and empty at times, the additional sounds are a bit muffled (fireworks for example). Also, you don't provide feedback to other Yea Forumssicians - bad!
> Garage Rock > Indie > Post-punk > Shoegaze influences I like the groove but i feel like you need a lead melody or something like that to carry the song. I think the snare might also be a bit too loud. But otherwise i dig what you're going for.
Is that you rapping? you have a really nice voice!
These are my recent two singles, I'm working towards an EP over the next few months ^_^ >Post-punk inspired >Rather Jangly
really enjoyed this, you've got good control of dynamics and I like your voice loved your cover of street spirit, I really like your guitar sound on your other tracks as well, I like your vibe I love this! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to what you do next :)
Great clear mixing, keep going i'd like a bit of drums in the progression but that's just my personal taste
Good mixing, the drums do overpower a little though, maybe raise the volume of other channels and mix a little more, overall its good, maybe use of a few more samples?
Great original sound, keep it up
amazing drum & bass/ jungle with a trippy vibe, love it, i feel like it could be mastered better but it might interfere with your sound overall I love it, my typa music
I have no idea what's going on in your music but judging by what I'm hearing you could probably put more work into one or two tracks, you know really polish it and compose it through. Would be nice to hear the amount of creativity you got distilled into one fat track.
youtu.be/o8VjVyLchr8 Sing song about my new app no ones gona use apart from me for something to look at in my gym room since im tired of finding music videos to queue up xD
this is spooky, is it really made by ai? so far gone is super good FUCK xD your voice is super good :)
Fourth and final single for my upcoming project Spiderman: Redux. The album is based album on the original Spiderman video-game for PS1 Any feedback is greatly appreciated (:
soundcloud.com/therealyunglildylan/sets/life Just dropped a new album with decidedly more emo/ punk influence, I even snuck a kanye west cover in there at the end. Pretty proud of this one >Pop punk >Hip hop >Emo >Yung Lil Dylan love the dreamcast vibes here not sure if I'd call this experimental, but its fucking good anyways love these crackhead vibes. definitely sounds like Spiderman sounds like passenger of shit mixed with babymetal, liteterally not sure if I like this your production work is pretty neat fuckin love this shit really well done but nobody wants to hear about how patrician you are
Demos for upcoming album: soundcloud.com/bonbos/sets/upcoming-second-album-demos First album: soundcloud.com/bonbos/sets/cardboard-girls >dream pop >psychedelic pop/psychedelic rock >synthpop >lofi (financial constraints) Instrumental to LtC reminds me a bit of Cocteau Twins. Doesn't quite have that foreboding charm as some of your other stuff, but it's still alright. All four songs sound good in concert, but I don't know how well they'd transition to a studio recording unless you did them live. I guess my only gripe is the improv section on the first half of Painaway feels like it goes on for a minute too long, though it's also a live performance so it might change. Otherwise, this is good noise rock.
Good trippy shit. Nice field recordings. I enjoy immensely this crunchy ambient sound so ominous and yet so evocative of simple things. Gave you a follow, this is my cup of tea. I really recommend this if other people are into Fennesz.
Absolutely love it. Feels like Jack Stauber meets early Ariel. Man, I love this hiss which gives it a hypnagogic feel, I use it as well.
Super original, haven't heard of this before and I find myself enjoying it a lot.
here, thanks for the listen, appreciate your words! Heard the newest track and I've enjoyed it very much so. The subtle guitar playing really works well with the atmosphere provided. Even it being around eight minutes it doesn't overstay its welcome at all. Feels very much like something I would like to make if I had a hold on more physical instruments. I'll be sure to listen to the whole album once I'll get some more time for it. Followed your profile on SC as well
Owen Harris
i appreciate the caminitos track, will continue listening to rest of album.
glad you anons still do this. it's nice to hear stuff
Juan Lewis
maybe you up to a collab in a near future?
thanks to both of you, guys.
Charles Foster
Always open for collaborations, haven't done that in a while. If you have any ideas or just want to talk - contact me via SC
Sick stuff, did you produce and sing/rap on it all yourself? Or is it someone elses production? Either way great stuff imo.
Very cool stuff, Really enjoyed punk love and your track called "No Turning Back". Production quality could be improved and such, but id love to pick up an album of yours down the line if you release any in a year or so.
I accidentally did this fucking insane hyena laugh today when I found out my vocal range went up, tell me what you think. (The only effect used in this song is compression, no pitch shifting no EQ nothing.)
Recs Always glad to see actual instruments in these threads lol
Did you make that animation yourself? Wtf what did you use???
Just aimed to get melodies, lyrics etc. down so I don't forget them, no technical ability, I have hypotonic palsy and dyspraxia so I have to record a few notes at a time and string them together in Audacity laboriously for each instrument track
Most of these are written for a basic vox/guitar/bass/drums rock set-up + occasional strings and keys, it's just that a 1.5-octave Casio with two keys missing is all I have to work with because poorfag
Oddly comfy, would listen to on 24/7 youtube stream for studying to/10
nice production, hints of Fourth World-style weirdness
Very nice guitar tone on Little Strings, fav track is Samsara... got my hopes up with Disorder being a Joy Division cover though given the Street Spirit one
Very chill, have you heard Peter Brewis's "found sound" works where he overdubs instruments in time with particular recurring sounds in field recordings? "It's About Time" and the hidden track "Louis" on the third Field Music record are examples but aren't on Youtube etc.
Thanks, that track was loosely inspired by a Talking Heads sort of thing. I hope I can get some folks together to record things but it's very hard to find people interested in guitar music that isn't metal and with enough free time on their hands these days, especially in rural UK. Everyone wants to be Ed Sheeran round here.
Cameron Ramirez
Oh and nice guitar tone again on the cover, only thing I'd do differently is slow the tempo slightly so you can keep up with the timing of the vocals without straining, your drums are powerful enough it'd still carry the weight at a slower pace imo
sharing some new and oldish tracks, listen to what you want. Feedback is always nice, but I mainly just want you guys to enjoy. It's a handfull of stylistically eclectic stuff
>Collection of music from 2014 - 2017 > Feedback appreciated, but the original files to these songs are gone, so its kind of just a compilation release
Plus... woahhh.... I have an even NEWER music video!! for my new song "Jazz Song Dedicated to the A.I. Gods" it's a beast-mode song in 333BPM!!!!
youtu.be/TJoDgtmbBVY >Free Jazz >Techno Jazz Fusion >333BPM released July 12, 2019

Your bass really needs to be EQd and mixed to a closer point in the mix.
REC
>chill SKIP
-Don't dry post. -EQ your bass -Mix each "instrument" into their own sonic category. hi-mid-low Put emotion into your work.
Work on taking the glitch elements to farther extremes.
Again and again and AGAIN.... You always need more spanking. For real, Putting words like "Lofi" and or "Bedroom" infront of your genre isn't some sort of indie tagline. I know you fake musicians THINK it is... but.. it's not. Real guys in the industry laugh all day long at "bedroom" and "lofi" musicians. You seriously think any real musician walks into a studio and tells the production team he's looking for a "bedroom pop" feel? absolutely NOT! If there was a dummy that ever did that they'd be thrown outta there pronto. I know you've never dealt with real industry peeps like me, and you've never ever even set inside a legitimate studio like I have, so this is just a word of advice to a beginner like you. Grow up and make real music for once in your generic life...
For real, spotify will destroy your career, or I should say your attempt at one before it even begins. Spotify's whole gameplan is to securely steal music from artists and then when that artist disappears they rebrand the music under a new name. Basically like what the industry did with Lady GaGa but now it's spotify doing it and no one knows.

You need to learn how to make your guitars sound heavy.
The funny part is how I have a whole life and then just fun-post music on Yea Forums . But you guys?... Your life IS posting music on Yea Forums.
Name me 1 musician who actually made a living from music by posting their soundcloud link in a feedback thread, because that's what these threads are. Hate to break it to you but if you think posting in these threads will give you a career in music you're sadly mistaken.
If you aren't just fun-posting in these threads you're extremely delusional.
Ey you listen to my new song? You'll love it with a capital L!!
Andrew Diaz
>Name me 1 musician who actually made a living from music by posting their soundcloud link in a feedback thread, because that's what these threads are.Hate to break it to you but if you think posting in these threads will give you a career in music you're sadly mistaken. Ok this is actually true though, I hate when he's actually right about something.
Brody Ward
shut the fuck up you sack of shit. fuck you. I can think of at least 10 artists who post here who will definitely make it big. you're just jealous that you aren't going to ever make it big with your garbage ass dubstep.
David Brooks
Zeal & Ardor.
Dylan Butler
dubbi's actually right? weird.
Dominic Gonzalez

Ryder Gonzalez
Hey, by the way, we all hate you dubby. Stop talking.
Robert Robinson
Swedish metal band, currently touring in support of Deafheaven.
>measuring your self worth by numbers on a semi-popular website LOL keep being upset lil buddy! I'm sure your lofi music will be world famous by next week! just make sure to say "rec"!
you have no comeback huh? you never seem to comment when i talk about the amount of likes and followers you have while you make music for at least 6 years lol. must be pretty painful
Juan Jenkins
>>measuring your self worth by numbers on a semi-popular website
so what do you consider success lmao, no one here likes your music, you dont have any fans, plays, likes, followers and you dont get paid for your music either. take your meds boy
Jaxson Powell
Do you genuinely think dj dubbi is a legitimate music project and meant to be a career? You do relize there's a LOT more going on in this world than amateur music, right buddy? LOL
Hunter Bell
you keep laughing at everyone saying they have to get a regular job while ''you keep making music'', so if your shit music isn't your career what is?
youre such a bad liar dude, but im having fun calling you out so go on.
Camden Torres
>so what do you consider success lmao -Enjoying my days here on earth -Spending time with family/loved ones -Laughing
If you legitimately care about strangers' opinions of you, you will 100% WASTE your life.
Let me say it again since you're a slow one: Do you actually think dj dubbi is a legitimate attempt at a career? ...... I'll let you digest that thought, try thinking before you type. You seriously have a hard time understanding simple things. Your pathetic parents should have given you a book more often as a kid. Your problem solving skills are completely dissolved from staring at an LCD screen 24/7.
Hudson Scott
oh shit dj dubbi is getting mad lmfaooo
that means im right
lol
>Let me say it again since you're a slow one: Do you actually think dj dubbi is a legitimate attempt at a career?
okay keep telling that to yourself, you dont seem to have any excuses for why your ''amatuer project'' is failing so hard.
if its not a legitimate attempt why did you get like 17 producers, beatmakers and audio engineers working on each track? why did you buy plays at soundcloud? why are you posting here at every single thread ?
waiting for real answers since you're the worst liar ive seen, i dont blame you tho, most retards never know that they have autism
>awww dj dubbi has no comment on what i just said? LOL you're really insecure about me having fun. Are you really that repressed?? That's sad, you should learn to have fun buck-o!!
I'm handsome
Use more phaser effects, that's what true psychedelic music does.
Boost your bass!

You've completely derailed our thread you faggot. Don't get so assblasted over someone not liking your music. It's not important.
Lincoln Miller
Every damn thread. Every day. How does this happen?
>not knowing it was pointing at the pic You're such a newfag that you are getting triggered by Yea Forums banter LOL I've been here longer than you, zoomer-boy. and have never set foot in leddit.
Keep begging for my attention tho.
Adam Cox
you ruined our thread. it's never dubbi who does it, it's you pussies who can't handle someone who's being an obvious troll.
Jose Gomez
Any of my experimental/ambient/drone friends have any luck playing live? Anything you'd like to share?
Angel Thompson
It's pretty fun and easy! It's a great experience. Check out my live album
>why did you get like 17 producers, beatmakers and audio engineers working on each track? How fucking new are you? He probably does it all by himself but thinks excessive "features" is funny.

Luis Cooper
NIGGA I HAVE NO FUCKING LIFE AND IM HERE ALL THE TIME NOW YES, BUT YOU you my nigga ARE ALWAYS HERE TOO SO DONT TELL ME YOU HAVE A FUCKING LIFE MY NIGGA damn nigga fuck you
It's my little copy-cat!! Seriously tho you Really aren't that great. You really need to Learn how to boost your bass. I can help you out quite a bit if you ask, but... just for now what you need to focus on is Making great bass patches. to make a beginner bass, get a defult patch in Harmor, turn the low-pass on A to 10% and 0% on B, and then turn the Sub up on both A and B, next turn on some slight distortion and then EQ the sub in the mixer up all the way.
Check out my new song
Juan Johnson
who are you dubbi
James James
No, I'm not a fan of good sounding bass. I like the muddy distorted garbage I put out. If I want to sound like everyone else in my genre, I could do so easily without the input of a cro mag looking ass bitch with a team of 16 retards to place hi hats in a 2 minute trwck.
